Wolf’s Bane and Roses

Wolf’s Bane and Roses

Elizabeth Isaacfear street fanfiction
The hall was silent, except for Roses’ soft whimpers. Nightbane’s gaze never left me. His wolf—weak, dyin, still managed to claw through his eyes, burning red like a wound that refused to heal. “Fel,” he breathed. Just one word, but it shattered the walls I’d built. I staggered to my feet, clutching Roses. “What are you doing here?” My voice was raw, breaking. I handed Roses to my mother and clutched my chest, “You’re not supposed to—”

Chosen By The Alphas

Chosen By The Alphas

Grey looked at me, expecting an explanation. Roam tossed the flask towards his rival who easily caught it. Wolfsbane was odorless, had barely any taste, making it an adept killer of Lycans who could smell most poisons a mile away. The younger Alpha sniffed it with a furrowed brow, then went to taste it. I knew a small taste wouldn’t harm him, and I knew my furious brute had tasted it himself in my diner to confirm his theory, but still my wolf went into protective mode.

Tempting my sister’s Alpha

Tempting my sister’s Alpha

Allison is doing the same but I didn’t find anything after a couple minutes. Fiona? Allison calls me as I stand in the closet looking for a trace. I rush out of the closet and Allison is standing by the bed when she brings out a herb wrapped in some manner of leaves that I cannot describe. What is that? I murmur, walking closer to it. “It is a wolfs bane.” It causes wolves to run mad.

Luna And Her Passionate Werewolf

Luna And Her Passionate Werewolf

She was happy to see Rondolf. Rondolf knelt in front of Rula. "I'm sorry, Rula." "You don't need to apologize." Rula tries to mess things up. "You're here," she muttered again. Rondolf gave Rula a flower. "Its name is Pynbeans." Rula frowned in disbelief. "So? What does this have to do with our meeting today?" "Pynbeans only grow in the Wolfsbane fields." Rondolf tugged at Rula's hand. He gave the flower. "Wolfsbane is a restricted area for all werewolves. It's killing us."

asks Aspen. I look down at my wrist and try to recall who gave it to me but can’t seem to remember. “I think this was a gift from my birthday.” “Do you remember who gave it to you?” “No, but it’s pretty ain’t it,” I reply with a smile. It’s a gold bracelet with an acontium flower dangling, also commonly known as wolfsbane among us wolves. I continue to stare at trying to remember who got it for me and why out of all the flowers out their they chose one that is poisonous to wolves, though thankfully that isn’t much of an issue for me since I am a dragon first and foremost.

Taken By The Biker Alphas: Pucked By My Daddy's Best Friend

Taken By The Biker Alphas: Pucked By My Daddy's Best Friend

the doctor explained. "Did you say wolfsbane?" I said, my mind still refusing to accept the facts laid before me. The doctor nodded slowly. "Yes. That was what was used by the kidnappers. They administered it at intervals." Wolfsbane... Wolfsbane was a rare flower that could only be gotten in one place: the northern region, which also happens to be Cassandra's father's domain. That can't be possible... She won't stoop so low.... Would she?

Sylvie Rose: Mea Potentia Ultra

Sylvie Rose: Mea Potentia Ultra

After listening a little further, we found out they are talking about wolfsbane bombs. Wolfsbane can be deadly to wolves. In tiny amounts, it can be a strong pain killer for us but larger amounts will suppress our wolves and cause a horrible burning throughout our bodies. The amounts in a wolfsbane grenade or bomb would cause an excruciating death and keep our wolves from warning anyone else. I really didn’t think they knew anything about werebears because I wasn’t hearing anything that would suggest they knew how to torture or kill us. I smiled as I listened to the feed, “They don’t know that there are other species to worry about.” Grandma laughed, “They’re about to find out.” I laughed wi

I absolutely love this book as much as all the other's in the series. You can read alone, but reading the entire series makes it that much better. I am so excited for the next book. If I could rater higher than 5 stars I would!!! It would be great to have these as hard covers or paperbacks ...

I love reading this book. What it says is true. it can definitely be read as just a book on its own and you won't have any issues following the story line even tho it's a continuation of the series. Such a great book and I can't wait for the next one.

Mated to the Alpha Knight

Mated to the Alpha Knight

“See these engravings?” Remembering from the other night that the dagger had the engravings of some type of flower, its petals a downwards tunnel, each one ending with a small curl, I focused instead on Emrys’ silver ring, evening both my heart beat and my breathing. “This flower,” Chelsa continued. “Is called aconite,” “Fuck,” Emrys murmured, brows furrowing with a sigh. “Acon- what?” Laker asked. “In other words dumbass,” Ruby countered. “It’s wolfsbane. Not only does the plant represent hatred and signifying to be careful, it is toxic to humans; especially werewolves. One drop of this shit and it’s lights out,”

Good story but some events that occurred had no impact on the story and I wondered why they were included unless it’s revealed in the next book, e.g., the Truth Lake 🤷🏻‍♀️ when she got bitten by the snake in the lake, what did that all mean🤷🏻‍♀️ Mind I did skim read a lot of it so could have mis

Surrogate For The Mysterious Alpha

Surrogate For The Mysterious Alpha

Just like silver, there's no going back and when you stop, you'll suffer withdrawal symptoms as well. But the toxic difference was that, your wolf comes out immediately you stop and then you die the moment you shift. Wolves that use wolfsbane are easier to spot than those of silver because their houses are basically surrounded by wolfsbane for easy access. The purple flower is the rarest in the human world. I wished I knew what they'd given her but she doesn't seem to be reacting to any withdrawal symptoms of the two.

The Alpha and His Omega

The Alpha and His Omega

“It’s wolfsbane.” Wolfsbane/monkshood/aconite was a wild flower that was toxic for humans and also for werewolves. It could kill werewolves by drinking the toxin (aconitine). Even inhaling it could weaken us. The bouquet was poisoned by the wolfsbane. I held my breath, trying to fight as I knew I was tricked by this lowly traitor. He was one of our pack members. No wondered he could set everything, knowing many of our people to use and deliver the messages. I reached for my neck.
