Bloodhound Moon

Bloodhound Moon

Power surged, eager and restrained only by will. I backed away from the window. “I don’t want this.” You survived without wanting it, my wolf replied. You’ll survive with it. A scream echoed down the corridor distant but sharp. Then another. My head snapped up. My wolf surged forward, alert and hungry. I smelled blood fresh, coppery, wrong. The door burst open. Mara stumbled inside, a gash across her arm, blood soaking her sleeve. “Stay back,” she barked then froze when she saw my face.

Stranger Shore

Stranger Shore

And as she hummed, she talked to the odd little creatures that lived in what they called the Candlewood. Some were as small as ladybugs and others as large as bumblebees. The brave ones climbed up Iris's knees and snatched away tallow beads to eat. The shy ones flickered in and out of view like the flames that crowned their candle-trees. As they moved, they often sang in high tremulous voices that Iris could only understand if she peered at the world through her eyelids as if in a dream.

Marking Territory

Marking Territory

Connor pleaded with teary eyes. Darach looked away. . . They had entered the wastelands and it might be their last journey together because already Darach had seen the creatures from the dark, for example, the Bearded Vulture with a unique diet of eating a wolf's bones, who's currently following them like a shadow, waiting for their demise. So why not reveal the pain that he was carrying in his heart. Why not share his pain. . . "It feels like someone had clawed my beating heart out of my body, plugged a knife in it and now he's twisting the knife repeatedly." Darach said with a straight face, looked Connor's eyes.

Where is the sequel? Please publish it here as well or you can just continue on the same book for the sequel since some authors are also doing that, combining 2 books in one… I just checked that you have another story ongoing but I don’t think that’s the sequel so please give us the sequel first…

Promised to the Tyrant

Promised to the Tyrant

“This one here is our pet dog, a very rare breed. It’s only found in our region, almost extinct. That’s why people don’t know much about it. This is one of its kind.” ‘WHEN CAN I KILL YOU? You made me a pet, a fucking dog?’ I yell through our mind link. As they continue this absurd conversation, my beast continues to think of all the ways we will torture Giovanni before killing him. “No, No, I don’t want to touch it.” Omerta moves back as she says that, and my beast is furious, and I almost keep it from growling. My agitated beast is fuming because this stray doesn’t want to touch us, and he thinks she doesn’t find him attractive. WOW, just WOW.

Mi Amor

Mi Amor

Her T-shirt that day featured a picture of Marie Antoinette and the slogan, Let them eat shit. She showed us a bunch of photos of mobiles she could hang from the exposed beams of the ceiling, a series of brightly colored tropical animals in the process of devouring each other. The graffiti-like stripes on the lizards and alligators fit the Wynwood theme perfectly. Jean-Jacques and I went back to the office, and pulled together a bunch of stock photos of pushcarts and superimposed them on shots of the actual spaces so we’d get a sense of what the empty storefronts could look like. By the end of the day I was thrilled with what we’d come up with.

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Public opinion on the Internet gradually subsided, and the night sky slowly turned darker. Adina leaned against the balcony with a laptop on her lap. She was writing codes for her company’s new project. She always felt the most relaxed whenever she was working. Woof! Woof! All of a sudden, she heard dogs barking from outside the window. When one dog barked, many of the other dogs in the surrounding area kept barking too. Adina pushed the window open and looked out with a frown. She noticed that a few stray dogs had appeared in the neighborhood out of the blue.

Ahh! I want more! This one was a real delight. The overall flow of the story was very interesting. I so love Addy and Duke, the power couple. At times, I'll hold my breath for what to come next. It's so eventful, to say the least. Pity all good things must come to an end.

The Stray Moon

The Stray Moon

“You’ll want the left wall. The right’s colder.” I step inside, and the floor crunches underfoot—salt, scattered thick as if to keep something from growing. I kneel, run my fingers through it, and find bits of fur, old nail, the flecks of whatever happened to the last wolf who lived here. He follows me in, glances at the wall, then at the blank stretch of stone above the cot. Tacked there with a rusted spike is a parchment, written in a precise, formal hand: CONTAINMENT PROTOCOL, STRAY MOON:

Made For The Alpha

Made For The Alpha

A twelve-foot wall with barbed wires at the top encompassed the home that floated on a sea of undulating green. At the forefront, a flag of the Lupus Colony —velvet black with the mark of a wolf turned to a full moon— sighed on a pole. Parisa lingered there, gazing out into the world from her cage until an unfamiliar sound cut through nature’s noises. It was a musical tune whistled so adeptly she could guess the musician, Chuck Berry. Her eyes scrutinised the vicinity, skipping from the trees to the front gates where guards patrolled the grounds beside wolves whose tongues flapped like labradors, and finally lowered towards the parked vehicles.

Ragdoll

Ragdoll

There’s one door that is shut, that door leads up to the bedroom. "This is my home, there's only one bedroom so ma'am you take my bedroom and Suki and I will stay in the living room." He picks up the small dog which is circling around his leg. "It's cute." She says looking at the dog. "Yeah she's Suki, she's a great companion." He says kissing the dog. She smiles and slowly sits on the couch holding her head. There is a hammering pain in her head, maybe it is because of all the stress and crying. "Do you have a headache?" He puts the dog down. "No um.. yeah a little bit." She looks up at him. "Okay you sit here I will be back." He walks away and disappears in the kitchen area.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

“The bounty on the king is substantial. I don’t have enough money here, but I can give you a chit you can cash in when you get to the city.” “Bounty?” I said. “Mm? Oh, yes.” Grayson walked over to the curtain and pulled it open. The wall was covered in posters. Each had a picture of a creature on it, some writing I couldn’t understand and a number. They were wanted posters. Each was a different colour. I looked over at the map on the other wall and noticed for the first time that parts of it were in different colours. By matching the colours of the posters to the map, you could tell where each creature could be found.
