I stand up and stare at it. It is a rabbit. Just one, pitiful rabbit. It's a long shot. But it has to be done. My paws are clumsy. I run towards the rabbit. I leap into the air. I catch it with my teeth. I am victorious. I look back at the guard. He stands up, claps his paws, and cheers for me. "I am not a failure after all," I whisper to myself. We begin our journey back to the den. Along the way, I ask. "Why won't you tell me your name?"

A bunny! I have seen a bunny before , but not close enough to actually touch one let alone have one nestle itself on my lap. I slowly let my hand run over its soft fur that looks like fresh fallen snow – what is a bunny doing in the garden? My father has told many gardeners that if any animal is found here , that they are to capture it and thereafter release it into the wild. I would think , how come no gardeners have seen or captured it as yet. My thoughts are broken as I feel it relax into my touch – I can not help but giggle at how adorable it is.

Although the moon rabbit kittens were adorable, they were also crazy about carrots. Skree! It was a horrible sound to hear as baby bunnies died. The unluckier ones died in their bubbles, while the luckier monsters managed to touch the ground for a few seconds before they became meat pastes or skewers, depending on who they met first. Oritha’s Boomerang cut down many floating bunnies. Her amplified giant strength created sonic booms with every throw. Yet, the number of invaders could not keep up with the speed and ferocity of the defenders.

The words flowed easily, but the story took me back to our happier times. “Once upon a time, there were four little rabbits, and their names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter…” As I read, I glanced over at James. He stirred slightly, and a small smile played on his lips. Sophie’s breathing deepened, a sign that she was sinking into a deeper sleep. The room felt warmer, filled with the memories of the past.

"Once upon a time...There was a little white rabbit who, one day, ate a large carrot and with a bang, turned into a big white rabbit." Diana asked, "And then what?" John replied, "That's it." "That's it?" "Yeah." John furrowed his brow slightly, unable to hide a hint of embarrassment on his face. "Is it not interesting enough?" Diana paused, unsure of how to respond. It wasn't particularly captivating, but... it was cute. She said slowly, "Well, stories should be longer, more intricate, and a bit more fantastical. You know, like 'The Ugly Duckling,' 'The Little Mermaid,' and 'The Three Little Pigs.' Kids love those kinds of stories."

They were in their own world, talking about little things and everything which were fascinating for little Marry. "Dada dada look !!! " Suddenly, somthing cought Marilyn's attantion and she started pulling her dad's shirt to show him the same thing… It was a tiny rabbit on the side of the road, looking extremely adorable while hopping here and there. Pressed her face into my chest. Lydia smiled. It didn't reach her eyes. "Hello, Liyana. I'm Lydia. I'm here to talk to your mommy." Liyana didn't look at her. "I like your rabbit " Lydia said. "Does he have a name?" Liyana mumbled something into my shirt. "Bunny " I said. "Her name is Bunny." "Bunny." Lydia wrote something on her clipboard. "Liyana do you know why I'm here?" Liyana shook her head without lifting it.

I decided to go for a run to channel my energy, given that watching TV wasn't appealing in the morning after a night of screen time. As I stepped outside, a strange noise from the nearby bushes caught my attention. My curiosity got the best of me, and I cautiously approached, only to find a rabbit trapped in a hole, struggling to get out. "Hey there, little guy, are you stuck?" I spoke softly, my heart filled with empathy. I knelt down and gently helped the distressed rabbit out of the hole. Its fur was matted and bloodied, evidence of a recent altercation. I couldn't leave it in that condition.
