He leaned me forward, his arm pressing firmly across my stomach as he forced me to cough, to push out the bone. The pressure hurt, but I barely noticed. I said to her as tears formed in her eyes and I stepped forward again and kissed her. I looked at her and lifted my hand, I placed the knife under my right ear and I pulled the knife across my throat. I felt my heart as it pumped the blood from my arteries into the open as my throat gaped open and I couldn’t breathe. I rip my shirt open and I see water rolling down my body as if it's a hot summer's day. Something catches my eye. The relief of emptying my stomach was instantly crushed by a brutal hangover. A fierce, pounding headache throbbed behind my eyes with every beat of my heart, and the room tilted slightly whenever I moved my head. My throat burned from both the alcohol and the stomach acid. I dragged my feet out of the bathroom, using the wall for balance as I stumbled into the kitchen. With slow movement, I found a bottle of painkillers. I shook two tablets into my palms, and swallowed them. Wincing as it touched my swollen throat.
