Letitia asked shielding her maid from the scary man's view. "I believe he would tell you himself. We should leave now if we want to enter Kerstone early." He replied instead and turned around walking ahead. "He's the Duke of Kerstone." Constance mumbled to Letitia's hearing and Mateo stopped abruptly. He sighed before he turned around to a place faced Letitia and a red faced Constance. "My lady?" He called. Letitia gulped harshly. The Duke of Kerstone? Then she was dead! "My lady?" Mateo called shaking her a little and she gasped looking up at him.

"Shh!" In disbelief, Beth looked again to the Duke, questioning him with her eyes. Then she looked to her Uncle who seemed to be considering the offer. The Duke continued. "She said she is to return home in less than a fortnight. A day's journey to the Castle, another back, five days at the Castle is all I seek." Beth was almost pleading. "But Your Grace, that is not necessary." Again her Aunt came to the Duke's rescue. "Quiet I say dear, let your Uncle speak with His Grace."

"Charles here will be setting an appropriate date and time for us to talk regarding this matter" Charles smiled at the Duke. When Arthur took his wife away from the party, Duke Blanche bit his lip angrily. Feeling his pride was crushed into pieces without even noticing that Charles, the Grand Duke's right hand is watching him. "Uhm, are we leaving this soon?" Beatrice asked Arthur shyly. The both of them were facing each other inside the carriage that they were riding to the north. Beatrice played with her fingers while anxiously waiting for the Duke's reply.
