Taming The Tiger

Taming The Tiger

As he moved to the first floor, he noticed another similar lobby area, which was way more larger than the upper lobby area. There were several couches in one circular area, while a wooden fireplace was situated in the other corner. A gigantic bookshelf, with several books was placed in the other corner. Suddenly, the bookshelf caught Troy's attention and he noticed how similar it looked to the bookshelf in Eva's room."Only the colour of wood is different. Looks like, the bookshelf was a part of the royal palace and has been shifted here. Could it be that all this furniture belonged to the palace and that is why it is so classy and expensive?" Troy thought to himself, studying the luxurious c

First ch: Mhm sounds interesting, let's give it s try. Second ch: I was already immersed in the story. Third ch: Desperate enough to read more. Fifteen ch: It may sound absurd but I completed all the chs without realising 😂 So, don't think too much and just dive into this book.

THE CAMPUS ALPHA’S WOLFLESS MATE

THE CAMPUS ALPHA’S WOLFLESS MATE

The moon watercolor print we had found together at the weekend market, not planned, just seen and both of us stopped at the same moment in front of the same stall, which felt like enough of a reason. The rocking chair in the corner. The lamp that would not be harsh at night. The small bookshelf with Tessa’s books arranged by size because Lycian had arranged them that way and I had not moved them because it was so entirely him that moving them would have felt like a small loss. Aunt Clara’s notebook is on the shelf beside the books.

This book is honestly such an addictive read. From the very first chapter, I was completely hooked. The author did an amazing job building the characters. Elowen is so relatable and strong despite everything she’s going through, and Lycian carries that intense Alpha presence that keeps you curious.

This book is pure magic! Elowen and Lycian’s story pulled me in from the very first chapter. The fake relationship trope is done so perfectly here, the tension, the slow burn, and the way their bond grows feels so real and emotional.

The Snow Storm

The Snow Storm

Pulling the dust covering away from his latest creation, he tossed the cloth to the floor. In front of him stood a large bookshelf. It was about nine feet tall and six feet wide. It had six shelves on it, divided in the middle as it was two different bookcases. He had made it into two pieces to male it easier to transport, but they attached together and formed one large bookshelf. It was dark wood and it had ornate hand carved modling around the frame.

The Alpha's Sentence

The Alpha's Sentence

The spot beneath it glows a deep green-blue, then fades back to normal. I suck in a breath. I cross the floor slowly, watching each footprint bloom and dim behind me. When I reach the shower and turn the handle, the ceiling responds. Light spreads overhead. Shapes flicker into view. Butterflies. Small. Luminous. Dozens of them clinging to the ceiling, wings pulsing softly like they’re breathing. I climb onto the shelf for a closer look, heart pounding. It’s beautiful. And unsettling. Like something that shouldn’t exist, but does.

Amara: The Alpha's slave mate

Amara: The Alpha's slave mate

It was such a small thing but it made this great big house feel just a little bit more like home. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn’t what we saw. The library was huge. Absolutely out of this world insanely large. Every wall was covered floor to ceiling with shelves that were packed solid with books. A spiral staircase led up to a mezzanine floor with yet more shelves and the far wall housed a huge window. Several tables and chairs were positioned throughout the room for people to sit at. It was insane, and it felt like heaven, knowing that I would be able to read at any time, without the need for secrecy.

The King's Mate

The King's Mate

The books were arranged like in the study room, from the floor to the ceiling – but this one was far more enormous than the latter. In the study room, there were built-in ladders on the side of each of the shelves to get the books she needed up to the ceiling. Unlike here, they were using wood ladders to get the needed books, most especially at the higher part of the shelf. It was better, though, because they could move it from one shelf to another. She loved to read, and she was really fascinated – it made her want to discover new things from the book itself. There were ten wooden rectangular tables placed in the center of the room – each had five wooden chairs with foam on it.

TANGLED IN THE PLAYBOY'S BED

TANGLED IN THE PLAYBOY'S BED

Those were good times. Pushing open the library door, I was enveloped by the familiar scents of paper and ink. The sleek, modern shelves, packed with books of every genre, rose majestically to the ceiling, creating a sea of literary treasures. Every book had been handpicked by me, each one a reflection of my eclectic tastes. I navigated the narrow aisles, my fingers trailing over the spines of the books until they paused in front of a shelf filled with classic novels. With a practiced motion, I pulled a row of books off a shelf, revealing a small, discreet panel. I pressed my thumb against the cool surface, and the panel slid open with a soft click releasing a whisper of secrets.

Married To The Devil I Betrayed

Married To The Devil I Betrayed

He walked toward the largest bookshelf in the room. Lucian noticed there was no hesitation in his movements. Richard wasn't searching. He knew exactly where he was going. He removed three worn books from the middle shelf—an atlas, a volume of Shakespeare, and an old gardening guide Elena remembered teasing him about for years. Behind them was a small brass catch, almost invisible against the dark wood. Richard pressed it. A soft click broke the silence. Part of the bookshelf shifted inward, revealing a narrow compartment recessed into the wall. It wasn't elaborate.

Butterfly Lovers

Butterfly Lovers

At my grave, he reached out to touch the photo carved into my tombstone, his smile radiant, though his eyes brimmed with sorrow. "If only the old tales of lovers turning into butterflies were real," he murmured. And in that moment, I felt myself transform—my soul taking shape as a butterfly. I fluttered down, landing softly on his shoulder. He lifted a hand and brushed the edge of my fragile wings. A single tear fell from his eye. Then suddenly, blood spilled from his lips. He collapsed in front of my grave. Moments later, another butterfly appeared beside me. Together, we circled freely in the wind, then soared higher and higher, toward an endless horizon.

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

I went straight to her room. It was a shrine. Frozen in time. Her bed was neatly made, her stuffed animals arranged just so. It was how the maid kept it. Lanc’s orders. I walked to her bookshelf, my heart a painful drum in my chest. There, between a picture book about butterflies and a well-loved copy of Charlotte’s Web, was what I was looking for.
