That scenario looked beautiful. Esme smiled, seeing her little daughter finally feeling happy. The kid dragged her mother closer towards those butterflies. “Mumma, why do butterflies fly?” The kid asked her mumma, seeing so many butterflies flying around those flowers. “Because they have wings,” Esme answered her kid, which brought a tiny pout on the kid's face. “Mumma, why don't I have wings?” Esme saw her little girl trying to look at her back to see why she didn't have wings. Esme's smile widened.

It begins slowly floating on the smooth ice then rises a little and a little more until it is in front of the crack that illuminated the room. She gets closer and peeks outside. There are many things she saw for the first time, the trees, the flowers, the animals, the insects, the sun and the wind. The fairy marvels over the forest that surrounds her. Going higher she flies over a hill and higher still she finds herself on a mountain. The fresh air, the noises, the humidity, all these things made her happy. Then a butterfly is caught in the lunge of a dragonfly which then flips its elongated wings in front of the fairy, the fairy follows.

“What’s that?” I blink and then look down into my hands where a little blue butterfly sits, slowly moving her wings up and down, completely calm and incredibly pretty. “Holy shit,” Blythe whispers, stepping close to peer at it. “Where did you get that?” “Want to be a butterfly next?” I ask, a bit wicked, grinning up at him. He just flinches back, looking at me with horror.

My tiny hands reached out to take the sketchbook, flipping through pages filled with colorful, clumsy drawings of butterflies in flight, perched on flowers, and soaring through the sky. The memory was fleeting, but it left me reeling as it faded back into the present. I blinked, staring at Lucas as he continued speaking.

She asked humorously. To her surprise, the butterfly flapped its wings twice, but it did not fly away. Flora stared at the butterfly intently. As she did, she thought her mind was playing tricks on her as she vaguely saw her grandma's face, smiling warmly at her. Flora moved her head back and blinked her eyes, but the butterfly must have been startled by her sudden move. It left its spot and went out the window again.

"Bed time story!!" shouted Hans while holding a picture book that has a green dragon and a white bird on the cover. The title said: The Scale and The Feather. "Yes! Bedtime story!" shouted Ina. "Bedtime stowreeey~!!" the others sang excitedly. The Matron chuckled and took the book from Hans' hands. "Ventusien tonight? You must be loving this story so much, don't you Hans?" The Matron kindly said.

The butterfly landed briefly on a broad leaf, wings opening and closing like breath. “Whoa,” he whispered. “Did you see that?” Bobby crouched beside him, careful not to crowd. “That’s a blue morpho,” she said. “They look bright like that when they fly, but when they close their wings, they disappear.” Christopher frowned. “Disappear?” She nodded. “The outside is blue. The inside is brown, like bark. It’s how they survive.” The butterfly lifted again, the blue momentary and electric, then vanished into shadow.
