Grim Reaper's Bride

Grim Reaper's Bride

How could it be otherwise. “Lemming or not, I'm not jumping that cliff with you. And I'm done being a maggot. I'd rather be a butterfly. Something that can fly away.” One crept out from behind a leaf, a scintillating blue Morpho. I coaxed it onto my palm then blew it in his face. “That way, if we fall, I won't smash open like a pinata.”

Mummy, Please Save Me : Divorced with his heir

Mummy, Please Save Me : Divorced with his heir

But as he leaned forward to make a sharp turn, the toy slipped from his fingers. It fell to the ground with a soft tap. “Oh…” Lucas whispered. He bent down slowly, stretching his small hand to pick it up. But just as his fingers were about to touch the toy, something caught his eye. A flash of yellow. Lucas paused. Right there, in front of him, a beautiful yellow butterfly fluttered gently in the air. Its wings moved like soft whispers, opening and closing with quiet grace. Lucas’ eyes widened. “Wow…” he breathed, completely forgetting about his toy.

Too Late, Alpha: The Mate He Never Wanted

Too Late, Alpha: The Mate He Never Wanted

She had insisted on writing it herself, even though she was still learning how to spell. I opened the book slowly. The first page was filled with colourful butterflies. Some were coloured bright pink, yellow, and some green. They were her favorite colors. Some were colored neatly, while others were messy. I turned the page. There were flowers next. Then animals. Then a castle she had begged me to help color once because “Mommy, castles are hard.” My throat tightened. I swallowed, blinking quickly, trying to stop the tears, but they came anyway. One of them ran down my cheek and landed on the page.

I loved this book! It was emotionally rich, unpredictable, surprising, soothing and everything you’d want in a book. The adventure and journey was incredible and the wording made it come alive without it needing its own movie. Thank you again, C Emmzy! It was a pleasure to read!

To live or to love

To live or to love

Its wings were adorned with intricate patterns of black lines and dots, creating a stunning contrast against the yellow background. As the butterfly rested on Aurora's finger, she could see that its wings were thin and almost translucent, allowing the sunlight to filter through and create a soft, warm glow around the insect. The butterfly's body was small and slender, with black antenna protruding from its head, twitching slightly as it sensed its surroundings. The butterfly's wings were slightly tattered, suggesting that it had lived a full life and had flown great distances to reach her. Despite this, the butterfly looked healthy and content, its wings beating gently as it adjusted its pos

Mr. Cripple And Mrs. Deaf : Twist Of Fate

Mr. Cripple And Mrs. Deaf : Twist Of Fate

“Be gentle, Aria. Butterflies are delicate.” Aria crouches low, watching the butterfly land on a flower. She clasps her hands behind her back, as if afraid to scare it away. “Daddy, come see!” she whispers loudly. Damien joins her, kneeling on the grass. Together, they watch the butterfly flutter its wings before flying off. “Bye-bye, butterfly!” Aria calls, waving. They sit together on the blanket, eating sandwiches and sipping lemonade. Aria insists on feeding tiny crumbs to the sparrows that hop nearby. Carol watches her, a soft expression on her face.

What Butterflies Don’t Tell You.

What Butterflies Don’t Tell You.

“Open to chapter three.” I obeyed. Mostly because the look she was giving me suggested violence. "Symbolism", she whispered. I frowned. “What’s symbolism again?” Her eyes widened. “You cannot be serious.” “I’m very serious.” She flipped open the book. “The bluebird represents freedom.” “It’s a bird.” “It’s a symbol.” “It’s still a bird.” She closed her eyes. “This is going to be a very long semester.” “Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’ll carry us.”

Alpha Caspian

Alpha Caspian

Animals of all kinds did not want to harm him. I watched as he set the butterfly on a flower petal, his small fingers gentle, his smile soft. The butterfly flapped its wings, yet remained close, as if not ready to leave him just yet. I crossed my arms over my chest as I watched. “Look, Mama!” Adrian’s voice was a burst of joy. “She likes me! She doesn’t want to leave, do you think that it can come home with us for a while? But it wouldn’t have flowers if it did. I want to put it down because it needs flowers to live and make food.”

My Prince Alpha Beast

My Prince Alpha Beast

The soft breeze of the afternoon plays with the leaves, rustling in rhythm. Amid the stillness, flutters of butterfly wings resonated, flying away from the small figure chasing its freedom. Tiny wandering feet disturbed the silence as leaves rustled, twigs broken at every step. “Don't go away, come back” the gentlest voice echoed, begging. But the innocent creatures heed not her plea. “I just want to play…” the small red lips pouted while watching the butterflies fly away.

Where Do We Belong?

Where Do We Belong?

Wren said. As Wren reached the door he paused as he reached out for the handle and turned to Melissa. He told her of his favourite bedtime story when he was a child. It was about a lonely child lost out in the forest with nowhere to go and nowhere to call home. He had been walking for days and was about to pass out from hunger and exhaustion. The forest creatures took him in and he was greeted by the spirit of the forest. It was like Melissa, a monarch butterfly. Melissa had much larger wings that were of a strange bluish green which was very unlike a monarch butterfly.
