Uncle Sebastien was a lot of things, but him reading fictional literature wasn’t one of the things I had expected. He acted twice his age, like he didn’t belong in this generation at all. Everything about him. The way he talked. His mannerisms. Rigid. Controlled. Weird. I flipped through the pages, still trying to process it all. The formatting looked old-fashioned, like one of those historical editions from decades ago. The names “Elizabeth Bennet” and “Mr. Darcy” were highlighted neatly throughout the pages.
