Ignoring Tammy's confusion, John slowly walked over to my lifeless body. He took a deep breath and reached out to lift the corner of the white sheet. My heart raced, and I felt my eyes sting with tears. "John!" Before he could see my face, Tammy suddenly let out a scream. John turned around, startled.
