Cabin Fever Books Novels & Stories

Comfortable. The bright blue bookshelf, filled with various cookbooks and novels, drew his gaze. He realized the entire space was colorful, and it seemed to be exactly as he would’ve imagined Megan Flannigan’s house: bright and well-loved. When she emerged from the bathroom, her hair wet, with her wearing nothing but a tank top and short pajama bottoms, Caleb couldn’t stop himself from turning into some kind of hunting dog, suddenly on point and on alert. She was beautiful, her skin creamy, her red hair piled on top of her head in a messy bun. He drank her in, from the curve of her neck to the bright purple polish on her toes.

Amber fell asleep right after they finished their cookies; only taking a bite out of one. Reign took the time alone to wander the cabin and examine it more. The cabin is very huge and that also lingered on her brain, how he could afford this cabin. She knows he talks about his family business but what type of business are they in? The house was furnished only in; plush faux black leather couches, queen and king size white beds, white dressers, bedside tables, closets and everything were in white. They had a library. Why the hell did he need a library in a cabin? The floor was done with luxury vinyl planks. The inside of the cabin was smooth and painted in winter mood white paint and the outs

I see a purple and a bright yellow room, the two of my favorite colors. Wait a minute this room has been decorated. I can smell the paint and the new furniture scent in the room. Wow, this is brand new. Everything in here is. Even this book I pick up by the nightstand then I take a good look at it. It is one of my favorite author’s B.B. Reid's “Fear Me” they bought all the series for me. Wow, I am so in love right now. Sometimes girls want candy and flowers but for me I want books. I gasp and realize this room is all my favorite colors and brand-new stuff and clothes. The weird thing is the clothes are all my size? Down to my bra size. I feel sick and thankful at the same time. I just realiz

Ben reported back. I peered through the cabin toward my hiding place. Like the rest of the neighborhood, it appeared deserted, and I decided to investigate. A strange shudder ran down my spine as I padded inside, velvety paws pushing against the chilly tile floor. The fire crackled in the fireplace, but it provided little heat. The furnishings are complete. Nothing seemed to be amiss. As with any bachelor pad, Fabian's cabin appeared homey and comfy, yet something told me something was wrong.

The cabin was too quiet. Not the peaceful kind of quiet—the kind that hummed with tension, vibrating just beneath the skin. Every shadow stretched too long, every creak of the floorboards felt too loud. Even the fire in the hearth seemed to burn with suspicion, its flicker casting more menace than warmth.

“And you’re moving past it faster than they planned.” Sebastian studies the snow under his boots. “I’m not past it.” “No,” I agree. “But you’re not centered in it anymore either.” That distinction matters. We head back inside. The cabin feels smaller after being outside. Contained. The kind of place you retreat to, not prepare in. I go to the shelves again, scanning spines, pulling out one of the older journals. Not Nightfang. Not directly. Peripheral accounts. Mountain settlements. Failed containment sites. Sebastian watches me from the couch.

As I got closer, I realized it was an old cabin, seemingly abandoned for a long time. I decided not to stay there for too long. The place felt a little eerie. Inside, there was an old bed, a very old stove that ran on firewood, shelves filled with dusty books, a broken wooden chair, and several scattered papers and books on the floor, as if someone had once used the place as a library.

“Cabin fever’s got a way of changing people. We’ve got time.” Lila smiled, tracing patterns on his chest, body humming with unmet need.

The cabin sat at the fringes of the woods, out of sight of all, a secret waiting. It wasn't big—one story, weathered boards, slanted roof dusted with snow. The porch creaked under my boots as I walked up to the door, the old handle cold under my fingers. Inside, it was just as I left it. The room was small but cozy, walls lined with stacks of used books, a faded couch in the corner, heavy blankets tossed over the arm. The fireplace took up one wall, the scent of old ash and pine from the last visit.

The construction had two rooms and both of them allowed a perfect view of the other, it had a double size bed and it was covered in dust a couple of bags on the floor…nothing of big notice with one exception: an empty bookshelf, with the exception of one book. The former trainee policeman grey matter was now working: If the cabin of a former druid was considered a haunted place wouldn’t all books be there? No one walks into haunted houses deliberately even less to take the books, let alone one. Thomas walked to the bookshelf and held in his hand the only remaining tome, it didn’t look as covered in dust as the rest of the items left…someone was here not too long ago and left this behind as a
