Lyra’s POV. I wiggled around the chair trying to get off the ropes that bound me with the chair, anger and fear cursing through me as I stared at Xavier's dark deep orbs that exuded venom and the smug smile that spread against his lips. "Why are you doing this, Xavier?" I spat, firing my words at him like bullets. His smile grew wider. "You're just a pawn in a bigger game, Lyra. This is about Sage. Don’t worry princess, I may or may not hurt, so I won’t make any promises”

“Enough!” The spear disintegrated mid-air, scattering into harmless wisps of smoke. Caelum turned sharply, his expression twisting into one of frustration. Headmistress Ellara emerged from the darkness, her stride purposeful, her form radiant with a shimmering aura of golden-white light. The stark contrast between her magic and the oppressive shadows around them was like a beacon cutting through the night. “Caelum,” she said, her voice cold as frost, her eyes locking onto his with unrelenting intensity. “You’ve overstepped. Stand down, or I will end this here and now.”

Thalia giggled as he brought her down, his breath filling the room as everyone watched in astonishment. “My mate,” Thalia echoed, and their lips collided, tasting each other as if the world had melted away. Lydia felt like her world was crumbling beneath her. How could her mate be Thalia? She clutched her heart, feeling that something was wrong—very wrong. Her eyes darted at the King and Queen of Rouges. Her eyes were dangerous and made her shudder.

I sighed and told them what the spirit told me. “But why only to Lady Seraphina? The spirit could have just meet Sir Zale, and since he is a water element user, the heir to say the least, why not him?” Asked Notus while looking confused. I sighed and just crouched to be at his eye level. “If the spirit were to summon Zale, then it will just end there. Remember when I said that the vengeance spirit was a fire? It might be a fire spirit that was tainted by some pollution from here.” I explained.

The pages flew out, covering her bed and the floor. "It wouldn't have even worked, your little revenge scenario," he said. "I'm more powerful than the spell that helped to create me." “Then bleed for it.” Kaela’s breath hitched, and she pressed her hand harder into the runes. The blood sizzled, and with a low hiss, the spell snapped apart. The shockwave knocked her back, but she didn’t cry out. She just smiled faintly, eyes glazing over. “For him… and for you.” She collapsed.

He shot out gigantic spears and swords from his free hand as Celestial Calibur on the other made the signature slashing waves, enhanced to stretch for miles. A massive crimson rose bloomed in front of Rachelia, facing the Grand Serpent. The rose glowed dazzling red and broke off into a powerful beam, drilling the barrier. Around the beam, seven spell circles were conjured. With a grand incantation, the spell circles shot out magical blasts of seven elements; fire, water, lightning, ice, wind, earth and darkness. The elemental spell circles rotated, effectively becoming a powerful magical gatling gun.

Caelan’s entire countenance turned deadly cold, his silver eyes shifting into pure feral darkness. "Do not let your tongue run wild, Garrick," Caelan growled, his voice dropping an octave into a lethal threat. "The female in my arms belongs to my bloodline.
