Camille felt her rage flare at the thoughts. A lycan who showed no respect for the mate bond? “Just great!” The Moon goddess really needed to do better with this matchmaking nonsense. Not bothering to see who he was entertaining, and ignoring the part of her that desperately wanted to throw open the door and see the face of whoever he was shagging, Camille turned away and headed for her, grabbing a bottle of wine from the wine cellar. She was drowsy with sleep when she saw him enter the room again.

He asked softly. Camille got up from her chair with an effortless grace she had always been known with. “Why do you care?” She scoffed. She would not look at him, as she went to her bed. She wished she could sleep for a time. Being a vampire now wasn’t as good as she always thought, but she had hung in there for the sake of her love. But, doubt was creeping steadily into her mind.

I was able to fight her off. Suddenly, I heard my door open. I just have about enough strength in me to see who was at the door. But I didn't have to look who was there since I already caught a whiff of her scent. "Kascada." It was like a spell was broken and I was sober again. I pushed the girl, who was actually Camille, off of me. I ran after her and was able to catch her thanks to my vampire speed. "It's not what you think!"

Clementine POV With Creed we went to the Chairman's office. When we entered the Chairman's office, Creed and I were immediately exposed to three Vampire High students. Two of them were women, they were bent over and the man was looking straight at me. She had a bruise on her side lip. It is possible that these three have a case. The Chairman sat us in front of the three while he sat in his chair. I looked at the Chairman. He turned to look at me.

Something she could only imagine existed in books and movies. A pair of red eyes and two long fangs that stuck out of the mouth as though they were always meant to be there. Except there was no blood dripping from his mouth as always described in books. Yet, she was still scared senseless at the sight of a living, vampire right in front of her eyes. He moved closer to her again but this time, she was prepared and understood what he was. She lunged on her feet in fright and prepared to flee. But she had barely moved two steps when that figure appeared in front of her again.

Camilla was standing at the elevator door, pressing it while glancing at me with fear in her eyes, as the door opened and before she could get in, I grabbed her hand and slammed her to the wall. “Lucius, stop. Why are you doing this.” She asked, tears streaming down her cheeks and my heart clenched. “Because you are mine, Camilla.” I said but before she could respond, I slammed the back of her head to the concrete wall, knocking her out cold.

She pressed. “You don’t seem like one,” I muttered, kicking the toe of my trainer into the dirt. “You really didn’t hurt your parents?” “I swear, Callie. I’ve not touched anyone since I woke up.” She laughed humourlessly, the sound full of choking sadness. "God, I've not been within a mile of anyone, until now." “But… how?” Freshly turned vampires were supposed to be the most volatile of them all. If what Veronica said was true, then so much of our information was at best misleading and at worst, dangerously wrong.

He growled. “But I didn’t see…” “You wouldn’t. She cloaked herself.” Jeremy rasped. Beings such as warlocks and witches could cast cloaking spells to mask their presence, preventing others from seeing them and learning of their activities. Camille was his only lover with that power. She’d obviously made herself invisible to Vincent. Camille was half werewolf, half warlock. Her mother, who was responsible for her warlock side, was one of the eight council members of the pack. She was a very powerful warlock who was over a century old. And like her mother, Camille was powerful and smart. But Jeremy hadn’t thought Camille would attack Ryan too as she’d always been a very reasonable person. Apar

He didn't even try to hide the call from me. Even without trying to listen, my vampiric hearing could still pick up Camilla's weak, breathless voice on the other end. "Vincent, my chest hurts so much… Can you come see me?" The smile on Vincent's lips hadn't fully faded. He hung up and turned to throw on his black velvet coat. "Camilla's condition is flaring up again. I have to go." I lowered my head, my gaze sweeping over the advanced blood analysis report once more.
