I was 23 and Toby was 24 in this story. I’d arrived at the summer camp in Canada with excitement in my veins. Ditching my shit job for a summer of fun is just what I needed. I was going to be a camp counsellor along with a load of other young people. One guy, Toby, kinda stood out, he was from Michigan, and he’d played lacrosse in high school. He was handsome in a slightly goofy way. He has bushy brown hair and he was tall, athletic.

Hazel replied. "No, I am glad to have found that in you both" Axel replied as he sat down on the blanket. Hazel and Sana did the same. "It feels so nice, doesn't it?" "Yeah, it sure does" she affirmed. "What would you like to eat first?" Hazel asked but before Sana could give a response, they all heard the screaming of someone. Hazel and the other two turned backwards to see a boy around the age of fifteen being beaten up so badly by a man.

My parents were kind and loving, I had friends and family nearby. Everything was simpler then,” he said.

Neither of those things sound great, but neither does staying here at this camp with Frank. I take a deep breath, and look around the tent. There are three others girls tied to another pole, and I check them out in terms of usefulness. One of the girls looks to be about fourteen years old, and she might be a couple of inches taller than me. Her hair is light blonde, her eyes are light gray, her lips are thin, and her build is petite. When she looks at me, her eyes are dead and lifeless.
