Falling. Down. Her. Cheeks. Can’t. Stop. Them. Anymore. “Why?” She asked. Needing. To. Understand. “Why. Me? Why. This? Why. Wait?”

he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "I love you more, Mason Cyrus" I whispered, kissing him gently before pulling back with a smile. My fingers played with the tiny infinity pendant resting against my collarbone. "Why infinity, though?" He chuckled, that boyish smile tugging at his lips. "Hmm... I don't know. Maybe because you're forever mine?" His eyes flicked from the necklace to my face "What does that even mean?" I laughed, rolling my eyes. "Well, it means I'll always be with you. Forever."

But that is not part of the agreement, right? Then why am I hopeful? Why do I want a forever where a forever is least possible?
