When the Wind Blows, She Never Looks Back

When the Wind Blows, She Never Looks Back

“You used to say that the northern lights you spent a lifetime chasing were never meant for you, and there was no need to chase them anymore.” “Yeah.” “Look at that,” he whispered, pulling me close. “Now, the lights came all the way out here to find you on their own.”

Goodbye, My Sweetheart

Goodbye, My Sweetheart

If he had chosen to be with Joanna, I could let him go. In an instant, my application changed from Harbor City to Capitol City Aerospace University. As it turned out, making a decision wasn’t that hard after all. It was just a matter of seconds, but why did it still hurt so much? My eyes burned. The words on the screen blurred into a mess. Just then, a pebble struck the window, once and then again, playful and persistent. I covered my ears, pretending not to hear. “Rue, I know you’re home.”

Scattered on the Wind

Scattered on the Wind

However, no matter how many people surrounded him or how intoxicated he became, his eyes remained empty and devoid of true joy. His smile was loud, but it never reached his eyes. Often, after nights of wild revelry, he would sit alone by the window until dawn, staring at the city outside, his gaze heavy with loneliness and emptiness. He could no longer find anyone who could stir his heart or a night that could grant him peace.

The League of Rogues

The League of Rogues

I am a candle burning for you, My heart is aflame with ardor for you, Yet you shall never come home, My gleaming pearl, my dearest heart, I waitI wait in the darkness, burning bright into the night, Hoping against hope you will find your way home. She had been too young to understand the look between her parents then, the softening gazes, the intimate secrets that lingered in the air unspoken between them.

No Return

No Return

The title was enough to make her light a cigarette. "The Heart of the Storm" "You and I We are a storm set loose And I’m the one holding you up Let us watch how The world you knew Comes crumbling down. "There’s no hell or heaven There’s no now or never Take my hand It’s just you and I. "In the heart of the storm You were right here by my side We were holding on Holding up. "Wipe away all the tears Let this havoc wreak around Tearing all apart All but us. "Look into my eyes

BLACK LEATHER & WHITE LACE

BLACK LEATHER & WHITE LACE

Every word in the chorus felt as alive as the music and the emotion he felt when writing made him disappear into the song. ‘So, tell me why, what good is life If we're all just waiting to dance in the sky? I'm already there, here in your eyes We climb the gates, every time that you lie down next to me, I rest in peace They say it's better, but how could that be? If everyone had a love like us They wouldn't call that place above, Heaven…’ The last note hung in the air and Lennon opened his eyes. His eyes felt damp as he stared over the faces, and his breath came heavy, but strangely enough, his heart was light.

I’m in love with Lennon and Everly! They’re a sweet, loving couple that I feel like savoring a candy with their love story. Your stories are amazing author, well written and the narrative is so smooth.

I love Lennon!! I love bad boys but sometimes the good guys win too and I am here for it! I also like it when an author doesn't 'cure' a mental health issue. Instead shows that a person can be live and be loved for who they are; no changes required!

BLACK TIGER

BLACK TIGER

You look at me and, babe, I wanna catch on fire It’s buried in my soul like California gold You found the light in me that I couldn’t find What makes my heart flutter is when Tiger looks at me after I sing this part. He doesn’t need to say anything, I read on his eyes that he’s speaking the lyrics to me, that thanks to me, he finally knows there is a good part in him, that I found the light he couldn’t find Lovers in the night Poets trying to write We don’t know how to rhyme But, damn, we try But all I really know You’re where I wanna go The part of me that’s you will never die

Going Where the Wind Takes Me

Going Where the Wind Takes Me

Mandy lay collapsed in a pool of blood, tears streaming down her face. Choking back sobs, she screamed in a voice filled with despair, “No, I don’t believe it. Sean, you said you loved me. You said you loved me so much that it was almost driving you crazy. I refuse to believe that in your eyes, I’m just someone who can be sacrificed so easily or some worthless piece of trash.” Crying as she spoke, she struggled forward, crawling to Sean’s feet. With a bloodstained hand, she reached out, trying to grab hold of his long legs.

The CEO's Gold Digger

The CEO's Gold Digger

Willow stared at him and for the first time that night, she sang right on key, her voice breaking. "Our field of dreams, engulfed in fire, Your arson's match your somber eyes, And I'll still see it until I die, You're the loss of my life..." Knox's eyebrows furrowed as he cluelessly stared at Willow, not understanding what those Taylor Swift lyrics meant. "What do you mean? I don't understand." He finally admitted.

this is interesting. it's just a little annoying for the fact that knox is so prideful and can't even confess his real feelings then just keep on flirting another woman for the world to see. can't he just man up and tell her his feelings?!
MarryMe_MrCeo
A nice story so far as in the events and the plot. But what I didn’t like was that there’s no tension between the two leads. He treats her like a toy but not a sexy toy if you know what I mean. I feel he acts douchy towards her because he knows she has a thing for him, plus he’s not likable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hunting down the lyrics to 'Walking in the Wind' is something I do differently depending on whether I want a quick sing-along or the most accurate, official wording. If I want speed, I usually type the song title in quotes plus the word lyrics into Google — like "'Walking in the Wind' lyrics" — and skim the top results. Sites I trust most for accuracy are Genius and Musixmatch because they often have community annotations or contributor corrections, which helps when a line sounds fuzzy in the recording. I also check Lyrics.com and AZLyrics; between two or three sources I can usually spot typos or misheard lines.

When I care about being exact, I look for the official sources. That means the artist's website or the label's page (some artists post lyrics with press kits), the digital booklet on services like iTunes, or the physical album liner notes if I've got the CD/vinyl lying around. Spotify and Apple Music often show synced lyrics now, which are handy because you can watch the words move with the song — great for learning tricky phrasing. YouTube can also be useful: official lyric videos or uploads from the artist usually have correct text.

If the song is in another language or has fan translations, I join a small mental checklist: compare translations, read comments on forums or Reddit for context, and be cautious of user-submitted sites that might copy poor transcriptions. For the curious, try a site search (site:genius.com "Walking in the Wind") to narrow results. I end up feeling a little smarter every time a lyric mystery gets solved, and I usually save my favorite transcript to a notes app for on-the-go humming.
