We all give up pretending to study as Jackson comes back from the nook with some paper, some markers, and some tape, and – bizarrely – two different kinds of candy that my mom sent back to school with me, knowing they’re my favorite. Quietly, we all watch as Jacks hastily tapes four pieces of paper to the table and then uses a marker to deftly reproduce the schematic map, effectively blowing up the scale so that he and Luca can see it better. I learn forward with interest, then, when Jackson opens the candy, scatting it out over the paper and arranging the two different kinds – peppermints and caramel chocolates – on different points.

Candy walks through the door in a red silk gown with a slit so far up the side it doesn’t stop till right above her hip. I’m positive women don’t understand how powerful they actually are. If they did, they would run the world by now. The scent of her COCO Chanel perfume draws me in, and I can’t help but feel let down that she doesn’t smell as good as Ava. My mental disappointment doesn’t stop my raging erection though, as I swoop in and draw Candy in close.

She had a driver for school, rarely venturing out with friends like other girls would. Moreover, Javier had a disdain for street food, so while she had seen candy apples before, she had never tasted one. Cyrus opened the packaging and handed the candy apple to Lauren. He asked lightly, "Want to give it a try?" Initially shy, Lauren couldn't resist the temptation. She stuck her tongue out like a curious kitten and took a lick. "Oh, it's sweet!" Cyrus felt a surge of joy welling up within him. A genuine smile, born from the depths of his heart, crept into the corners of his eyes. Lauren's innocent expression was like the candy apple on a stick, slowly melting away under his intense gaze.

His sudden shift in focus made me feel like I had his undivided interest. "Oh, these come in different flavors?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. I hadn't realized that the candy had a variety of flavors. "Yeah," Felix said, listing them off. "Mint, chocolate, strawberry, orange, litchi, pineapple—" "Litchi! Litchi!" I interrupted him excitedly. "Okay, litchi it is," Felix said with a nod. "But just to clarify, the flavored ones will be used only for the mouth, not anywhere else," he said, tapping my cheeks playfully.

She was thinking of asking Stephany of the same thing and who would have thought she would beat her to it. “I asked if your boss knew about you leaving from your job this early or today there was nothing to do?” Stephany asked again. Candy is a model and most of the time, when there is something to do or auditions for some commercials or modeling events she would not stay at home. So if she had left a shoot or audition or anything she was doing halfway, as much as she was now growing, Stephany would really feel guilty. Also, Candy works at a shoe shop to help her gather her rent in time if the month passes without gigs so basically she has a boss.

Candy raises a brow and hesitates but pushes on towards me, seemingly undeterred. “Hi, I’m Candy, nice to meet you Liberty” she holds out her hand. Her smile is radiant but doesn’t reach her eyes. Ignorant, 17 year old Liberty didn’t see that Candy was fake. Seasoned and wiser Liberty sees right through Candy’s act. It pains me to realise how naive I previously was.

"You..." the teacher said kindly. "Please be serious. Why are you so distracted? Are you listening carefully to what I just said?" "Hee hee... I'm listening!" Candy gave the teacher a dazzling smile. "Teacher, I won't disturb you any longer then. I'll go back to the classroom first." After collecting her homework and leaving the office, Candy did not immediately go back to the classroom. She waited for a while outside the office. It was not long before Cleveland came out.

After Candy toured the entire museum and saw all the beautiful paintings, she decided to sit down to relax her feet, she’s wearing a four inch heal and her feet was starting to get cramps. She turned around but almost every table was already occupied. She saw only one seat vacant in the cocktail bar. She stepped near the cocktail bar and picked up a glass of champagne from the tray carried by the waiter she met. When Candy sat down she slowly drank the champagne. Candy was not used to drinking alcohol but it doesn’t mean she’s ignorant of its taste, she has also tasted wine few times when she attends parties.

"Candy. It's short for Cassandra." That was cute. "Okay, Candy, I don't know if you've properly thought this through. I mean... you don't even know me! I'm just some guy off the street of one of the most dangerous cities in the world, and that's by your description! Gun or not... how can you trust me?"
