THE DEVIL'S JEWEL

THE DEVIL'S JEWEL

Lord Cedran asked, though he looked like he didn't want to know. "The third one lasted the longest. Five years. They say she went mad from the things he did to her. Found her hanging from the castle rafters with her own bedsheets." Renwick's voice was flat now, emotionless. "That's who we're dealing with. Not a man. Not even a king. A demon who feeds on suffering." The silence that followed was absolute. Several council members were openly weeping. King Aldric felt like he might vomit. "So what do we do?" Lord Thalen asked desperately. "There has to be something…."

CLAIMED BY THE DEVIL

CLAIMED BY THE DEVIL

”Nice flowers.” Wendy commended as soon as Rebecca entered the room. Rebecca on the other hand didn’t pay attention to what was said. She was lost in a world of her own thought. She didn’t see the face of the biker, but from the sound of his voice, she could tell who it was. It was a voice she would recognize anytime, any day. The voice of the devil who haunts her in her dream. A pat on the shoulder brought her back to reality. She jerked and the flower slipped from her hands, but Wendy caught it before it could fall to the floor.

Arranged to the Alpha

Arranged to the Alpha

got finished my shower and got dressed, I headed downstairs and into the kitchen where I found Tanina making breakfast. She made all my favorites for me, "Happy birthday dear" Miss Tanina said with a huge smile. "I am making biscuits and gravy, sausage and I made a huge thing of chocolate milk", "How did you know these were my favorite?" I asked "Someone knows you better than you think dear," Tanina said then started to hum while making my plate, I stood there dumbfounded, "Go on take a seat dear, enjoy your breakfast," Tanina said while putting my plate down. I was stuffing my face with this wonderful food I didn't hear Devllin walk in. "Well good morning birthday girl," he said startling

Devil's Redemption

Devil's Redemption

Her spare hand immediately went for rescue and waved in front of the nose to remove the foreign particles that made her sneeze. Once she regained her breath, she moves her long and pale fingers over the beautiful cover. The golden letters engraved on the thick leather, left her mesmerized. She consecutively traced a golden rose drawn at another corner. ‘DEVIL’S REDEMPTION’ The cover screamed, and she eagerly took her place back on the same chair. As she opened the first page, a dried rose fell from within the book. Smiling, she picked it up and gently placed it back on its original position. The dried rose has withered from the edges and will soon turn into dust. The rose belonged to her dec

In The Devil’s Arms

In The Devil’s Arms

Her countenance, typically an array of animated expressions, had transformed into a tranquil tableau of serenity. A soft, barely discernible smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he observed her. Even the devil himself, in all his cunning and might, would find himself disarmed before such a woman. She bore no regal lineage, possessed no grand narrative of her life. Her beauty was not the kind to inspire poets or artists, and her dubious occupation had seemingly secured her a spot in the inferno. Yet, there was an aura about Reina, a quality that was singular and extraordinary. She held the uncanny ability to perceive devils—two of them, to be exact. To the untrained eye, they were indis

Eight chapters gone, and I can say I'm thoroughly hooked. I love how the author is able to convene actions without having to tell too much, and the FL inner dialogues are absolutely funny. And, there's barely any grammatical error. I am looking forward to completing this story.

The book is well written, the use of English is good and there is almost no error in it. But however, I think it could use a little more dialogue and be more fast paced. I also love the supernatural elements in the story, but I feel like it is outshining the romance.

The Devil's Daughter

The Devil's Daughter

My brow furrows in confusion and anger. "Who?" I lazily sit up, blowing strands of stubborn locks from my face. "Just come out first," she advises and the next thing I hear is her retreating footsteps, "It's a delivery guy named Josie." Pulling the comforter off my body roughly, almost tripping on the drapes of it that sweep the floor, I zombie-walk toward the couch and snatch up my robe, throwing it over my body. I ordered a new iPhone case yesterday and I was told I would get it by 6:00 PM but somehow, they didn't show up. Why exactly did they assume it was right to come and disturb me so early in the morning?

The Devil's Heir

The Devil's Heir

Jarek has a few business acquaintances coming for dinner, along with some of our friends, and I have to be the gracious hostess. "Mommy, mommy! Ashlyn ate all my dessert!" Our seven-year-old comes running into our room, screaming. Devlyn is her father's namesake—sort of. Jarek didn't find my choice of name for her very amusing at first, but I got my way. It's very fitting because she acts just like her father, my Devil. Our five-year-old follows her sister into the room, chocolate smeared around her mouth, giggling. "Ash… Did you eat your sister's dessert?" I ask our youngest in my no-nonsense tone.

I love the gradual attraction between them. Their scenes makes me blush just by reading it. Haha. I love them together. I hope to see more of them as the story progresses. Great job so far. I am impressed.

Deadly Devotion: Betrayed by Love

Deadly Devotion: Betrayed by Love

Each time, my body would just pass through hers. I refused to give up and kept circling her. Then, I noticed there was the slightest breeze when I moved. I ran around her in circles, not stopping even when I was so dizzy I wanted to puke. Finally, Ruth woke up. I collapsed on the floor, tired from all the running. Just then, there was a sound in my bedroom. Ruth got up and headed toward it, pushing the door open. I followed her. It turned out my journal had fallen off the bedside table. She picked it up with trembling hands and flipped through it.
