An even more terrifying scream rang from beyond the door as another monster emerged from it. It was over two meters tall and looked something like a centipede. Two wire-like feelers stuck out of its head, above its glazed eyes as it blinked at its surroundings. Its limbs were long and thin, its lanky body covered in a brown armor of runes. The tip of its limbs looked like a spear, burning with gray spiritual flames. The centipede-like creature let out a piercing howl at Wilbur as it emerged from the dimensional door, pouncing on it with its spears facing outwards.

Again, they would disappear and reappear. As my brother got closer to Cedric and the portal became bigger. Just as I used my power to push him into the portal, he grabbed Cedric’s face with clawed fingers and ripped it off before being forced into it. As soon as it sealed up, the Blood Dwellers vanished. Well, none that you’d have to worry about.” He paused, his gaze never leaving mine, “You’re free to use it however you need to accomplish what you want. I trust you.”
