Skyler said as he patted his shoulder gently. Maybe Scarlett and Skyler shared a similar smell or something, but Carlos kept mistaking Skyler for Scarlett. He kept cooing and repeated the word “mummy” over and over. “I’m your uncle, not your mother!” Skyler said as he put him on the bed and dressed him. Grace breathed a sigh of relief. She went into the kitchen to see if breakfast was ready or not. She wiped the sweat off her forehead. Carlos was almost one year old, and he really had great strength. He’s a nice guy, five-six, with darker tan skin, and a few wrinkles at the corners of his eyes that show his age. He has a grey moustache, short grey hair and dark brown eyes. Carlos took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, "I am Carlos.... Prince Carlos Maxwell Appleton, I'm a Briton" he chuckled softly, "eh, I don't know what else to add there" he paused "em, okay, I'm unmarried, like I told you before. My father is King William Dennis Appleton, my mom is Isabelle Maria Appleton and my baby sister is, Angel Aria Appleton. Em..." He scratched his head nervously, "what else should I add?" I murmur, getting myself a spoon. “Looked like it,” He says. I eat a spoonful of cake and hum in delight. “Do you want some?” I ask but his gaze flicks down to my lips instead. He smiles, reaching for my mouth and I freeze. “You got it on your chin” He points out. “Agnor” A deep voice thundered into the air and we both turned to the door. Carlos is standing there in sweatpants that hang low on his hips. His upper body is bare, letting every line of his muscles show.

Watching her eat made everything taste better. "She's breathtaking," I said, my voice barely a whisper. Luca's voice broke the peaceful silence with his harsh words. He was alway good at saying the opposite of what he meant. I tried my best to get Eleanor to say so we could sort things out between us for Carlos sake but Luca kept ruining it every time. "Mummy!" Carlos's voice was heard and he came dashing straight towards Eleanor. "You're finally here, I missed you so much." "I missed you too, my baby."

She moved herself trying to sit while she grabbed the blanket to cover her body. "Andy, I know you deserve to know, but please promise me you'll try to understand." He sat in front of her and hold her hand. "I am not human, I am an Encantado," he started. "Encantado what? What do you mean you're not human? You mean to say I just made love with a monster?" She panicked. "Monster? Andy, I am not a monster! I am way far from being a monster. Yes, I possess power, I live in a magical place not visible to human eyes!

Carlos interrupts, unnoticed in intros. “Why would she introduce you? You won’t be around long,” I jab. “Papi, stop. Sorry, baby—Aunty U, this is my boyfriend, Carlos. He’s a doctor.” He greets Janis; she asks his specialty—neurosurgery. They chat. “Saved anyone lately, Aunty U? I loved your stories as a kid,” Gianna says. “I did save someone near death recently,” Janis replies, winking at me.

I swallow my nerves and open the door, making my way down the stairs till I'm at the final flight, looking down on Carlos leaning against the door frame gazing out at the people passing by with his hands in his pockets giving of a nonchalant aura. The sound of my heels brings his attention to me as he swivels his head around to look up. He straightens himself out, I notice his mouth open a little and his eyes widen. Thank you Marcel, you really are like a fairy godmother, well a fairy godfather I mean.

“Has she? Has she told you how she’s still my wife? How we’re not divorced yet?” Elena stepped between us. “Carlos stop it. Miguel is just a friend. We were just walking to the restaurant for lunch.” “Is that all he is?” I said. I looked at Miguel. He was wearing nice clothes and he had a nice smile. He looked like the kind of man who had time for the people he cared about. “Because he looks like more than a friend to me.” “Carlos please,” Elena said. Her voice was quiet but firm. “Go home.
