His eyes were cold as ice. “Run!” Mum screamed. BANG! Her body dropped right in front of me. She lay there in a pool of her own blood. So much blood. “M-Mommy?” I whispered, crawling to her side. She looked at me one last time. “Be strong Carrie,” she said, voice shaking. “I... Love...” Then her eyes closed. “No…” I sobbed, hugging her. Another man ran up to the scene “Reaper! We gotta go now!”

None of them understand what’s happening, but it’s as if the forest itself is preventing them from escaping more than a few meters, despite their frantic efforts to get away and stay alive. Carrie is pleased that her plan is working; she knows that Saya will be able to finish them all off. She takes advantage of the moment to slip away. She can't be seen by any of them, as Carla might find out, and that could spell disaster for both her niece and herself. With her incredible speed, Saya hunts down each of the rogues. Carrie’s enchantment doesn’t affect her, so it’s easy for her to move through the towering redwoods, finding them one by one. It doesn’t take her more than ten minutes.

It was finally over. Walking back into the restaurant I headed straight for Sadie and Luna, Luna was crouched over, I got closer wanting to make sure she wasn’t hurt but as I approached I saw the blood on her hands, the body lying still beneath her. Luna turned to face me, her eyes flooded with tears, her voice barely a whisper. “Carrie was shot”

Carie took a deep breath and howled loudly in warning. The beast looked at Carie. I felt shivers running down our spine as he smirked as if he could peek through Carie's eyes. He raised his hand but Carie was faster than his mind. She jumped on him, clutching his arm in her canines, the same hand that he was about to use to kill Loid. Growling in anger, Carie snapped her head to the side, ripping his arm off of his body.

I shook it off and smiled down at Carrie continuing my vow to her. We are starting the blood exchange. Carleton has cut my palm and is moving to cut Carrie’s palm, when I hear the call through the Pack link. “We are being attacked,” yells various Pack members on patrol. I look to Carleton, and he recognizes my look of panic. “Do you both swear to protect one another above all others?” Carleton asks quickly.

Even though it meant missing out on most things during the day. But then again, it meant she won't have to deal with most of the people that hate her, namely Davina and her crew. Carrie talked with Hayley for a while. "I think that blood sucker is after you." Carrie whispered in Hayley's ear, then gave it a small lick. "That is the most disgusting thing that you have ever done to me. Don't put your mouth on me again. I don't know where it has been." Hayley wiped furiously at her ear.

I know those eyes, where do I know them from? An ache wraps around my skull, and I watch them lift me up. My neck turns on its own, I gape, the panic I had tried to stop rushing back with fevor. The severed head of my elder sister, her shining blonde hair soaked in deep red with a pool of blood surrounding her. There are other limbs next to her, her eyes are wide and empty. Something pushes up against my mouth, and I tremble. A wave of dizziness hits me, I don’t stop staring at the horror show until my lashes flutter down and darkness swallows me.
