The friends waited until it got dark, then quickly changed into their costumes. Carly’s lush breasts overflowed her cupcake bikini top, straining against the fabric and making the two red gumdrops stand at attention. The high-cut bikini bottom fit perfectly, with the candy-corn triangle in front hugging her furry blond mound, and her plump ass cheeks exposed in back. The red-and-white striped thigh-highs showed off Carly’s curvy legs, with shiny black heels that completed the outfit.

Cole had told me that Whitney had won prom queen. I had rolled my eyes at that. Like she had any competition. He said some other dude won prom king. While Cole and I spoke, I had my legs in a bucket of ice. My feet were getting swollen a lot these days.

My probability of winning was probably zero when Madison had been planning this strategically for years. The winter prom we have all been waiting for and who will be prom queen. And of all the themes to choose, they choose werewolf and witch themes as if my life wasn't miserable enough. The females were to dress as witches with witch-like masks and the males were to dress like a werewolf with a mask like a wolf. Yes, of course Madison picked the most controversial theme, my whole life was like a freaking TV show, cause she picked the theme cause she thought “WW” was cool.

“You look beautiful by the way.” She was taken aback by the praise. It was the most awaited Prom night and she was wearing a Champaign-colored knee-length gown. It was sleeveless and had a V neck with delicate applique work around it. She was not planning to attend the prom but decided at the last minute. She did not want to run away or hide her face. Enough of that. She knew Prince Noah would be there and she needed to face him. She did see him with a clingy girl but she ignored them. Lily was also there with a handsome hunk dancing like crazy.

I silently growl, thinking to myself. "Going to have a party tonight. Are you up for it?" Valentina asks while we eat, with that curly accent. Luckily, I can understand. "What kind of party?" His voice sounds clipped as he speaks, "Prom will be held this Friday at the Ravenscroft High grand hall. Votes for prom king and queen can start now. Tickets will go out at lunch today, and attendance is mandatory for all students." The intercom shuts after that, as everyone begins to whisper excitedly at the announcement of Prom. Prom at Ravenscroft High was more like a fashion week event. Everyone would be dressed in nothing short of couture, designed by their favourite designers, as every rich student tried to upstage the other.

We both stepped out of the car; Gianna's white dress was anything but calm, with feathers around her curly hair, making them look more attractive, her dark skin magnetic with the under light special glow. HOURS AFTER PROM AND into the prom party, everyone was wilding out, having fun, saying their goodbyes, and getting drunk. And then there was me, with a non-alcoholic drink, thinking about how much I was going to miss my family. Tonight was supposed to be about loosening up and having fun.
