The one whose voice is unfamiliar to me seemed to be more mysterious. He has grey hair, silver eyes, a pointed nose, pale lips, sculpted jaw, and fairer skin than the other one. I coughed and realized that my hands are tied and all I can do is sit. “Just kill me,” I muttered and sit. I now have a broader sight of where I am.

My grimoire, sensing the awkwardness of the whole situation came floating to me, flipping back and forth as though speaking to me before it came to a halt on a page and settled before me. I looked into its pages and read what it was suggesting. But I knew what was wrong. I needed no spell to tell why Xavier wanted to return. That girl Lyra, there was just something about her, and that something had wriggled its way into the fissures of Xavier's heart, and that was a herculean task. “I don't need a mind-reading spell to know what this is about,” I said as I willed my grimoire to move aside.

I begin feeding her , while still talking to her. “My queen…” I hear the voice that I had been dying to hear ever since I woke up from my unconscious state. My head snaps to the entrance to see a very dirty and sweaty Xavier. Though his face and hands were covered in dirt , and his clothes were soaked with perspiration , I could not help but feel attracted to him. I feel my eyes are latched on to him , it felt so hard to tear them away. I noticed every single detail about him – from the way his chest rose and fell from his rapid breathing , to the tiny droplets of sweat that dripped from the tip of his hair. He was simply a sight for sore eyes , though dirty.

His attention went back to the screen and I turned mine to his book shelf to look for something to read. Vampires. Werewolfs. Romance. Teen Fiction. Mystery. Thriller. Historical. He's got a lot of books. Xavier's POV I looked at Royalty as she looked through my bookshelf for something to read. I knew girls rather shop than read and I found it quite interesting for a girl to be a bookworm. I was feeling something for her but I couldn't put my finger on it. I was slowly starting to enjoy being around her. I got up without making a sound.

“I've been knocking for a while. I thought you were out. Have been covering for you all through today. You seem to be busy.” I leaned back. His eyes darted over the table. “The alchemical underpinning of fate and mating in werewolf lore—why would you be reading that?” I blinked, my gaze darting back to the book on the desk. I slapped the cover of the tome shut. Did I really pick that? “I…I wanted to study a concept,” I dragged my gaze to the shelves. Xavier was silent for a moment before he chirped. “You are thinking about her.”

“You have evil plans against me in the future.” Draymond shrugged. “Allow the future take care of itself. Live in the present for now, boy. You have the big opening. You can become a Sentinel today.” “So you think I should kill Jimin?” Xavier said, turning the book in his hands. “I didn’t say you should do anything,” Draymond frowned. “I just gave you the book that would best suit what you need to do right now.” Xavier turned the book over in his hands searching for a name. “This book was written by….” He turned the book around looking for the author’s name and he finally found it.

Xavier slowly opened the file, his eyes scanning the title: Mission Report - 201 - Blood Crescent - I
