I stayed on guard, alert at all times. My phone vibrated on the table, snapping me out of my thoughts. I stared at the caller's ID, unsure of what she had to say this time. “Hello, what's the problem?” I asked the moment the call got connected. “What's the problem?” Her loud voice reverberated through the phone. “There's a thousand and one problems son, and you successfully created them all!” My mom declared, her voice sounding somewhat dramatic. “Where's this coming from mom?
