Chad From 8 Passengers Mga Nobela at Kwento

He carried me right past the few people looking in the hospital courtyard. “Noah,” Chad’s deep voice commanded as he reached the lead SUV. “Everyone wait outside. Do not disturb us.” Noah nodded instantly, pulling the guards back to form a perimeter. Chad yanked the rear door open, tossed me onto the leather back seat, climbed in right behind me, and slammed the door shut. The dark tint blocked out the world. The space instantly filled with the suffocating, heavy pressure of him. Chad's pheromones were leaking everywhere, I had never seen him like this.

“What do you mean—no survivors?” Chris lowered his head. “All one hundred eighty passengers and crew members… they’re gone.” Riana’s voice broke. “No! No, that’s impossible! They haven’t checked everything yet, right? Maybe—maybe someone—” Kate pulled her into an embrace, holding her tight. “Riana, stop…” she whispered, her voice trembling but controlled. “You have to be strong.” Lydia’s eyes were fixed on the window, unfocused. “So… Chase is really…”

said Chloe, reminiscing that fateful night. "What a night that must have been. Now, we are here in the streets of Paris, all eight humvees in a single file, driving like a military entourage." said Jim. Victoria, upon hearing Jim's remark, suddenly frowned in suspicion. "Wait a minute... Jim, how many humvees did you say are in this line right now?" asked Victoria. "Eight humvees, Victoria." replied Jim. "We got a problem. We loaded up seven humvees from Townsville, with each one of us occupying one humvee. How are there eight humvees in this line as we speak?" said Victoria alarmingly.

For the next five days, they planned to disappear. Isla leaned her head on Chad’s shoulder, her hand resting casually on his thigh in a silent reassurance. The bus was only half-full, most passengers dozing or staring at their own screens. The driver had the radio on low, some classic rock station droning through the miles. She glanced up at him, eyes bright with that mix of adrenaline and mischief that had defined the last twenty-four hours—her heartbeat quick and her nerves buzzing. “Still nervous?” she whispered. Chad gave a small, uneasy laugh, but his fingers tightened anxiously around hers, betraying the anxiety he tried to hide.

Before he could answer, the van door slid open. Chad leaned out. His expression soured when he saw us talking among ourselves. “Well?” he glared at Zeus. “Are you two losers getting in or not?” Without another word, we climbed inside. The vehicle was a large white van. I automatically headed toward the back seats. However, a hand suddenly wrapped around my wrist. Before I knew it, Chad was pulling me toward the seat beside him. “What are you doing?” “Sit.” That was all he said. Confused, I sat down anyway.

“Hi mom! Yes, we are on the road now, we are actually almost to South Carolina but we are about another three hours or so from you.” Should I be getting excited about meeting his parents or nervous? Maybe a little bit of both? We pulled into a restaurant to get something to eat. Chad and Joe being the comedians that they are, this should be interesting. “Welcome to Freddy’s! How many today?” The hostess welcomes us. Chad starts counting, “1, 2, 3, well it looks like there are 4 of us today!” Eye roll at life. “Absolutely, right this way.” The hostess walked us to our table and gave us our menus.

Chad calls to me as I pass by him. “Yeah?” I turn to look at him, and I notice how good looking he is tonight. He’s wearing black tie. His light-brown hair looks a bit shorter—which makes me think he just got a haircut. His hazel eyes inspect me as if he’s trying to study my mood before he says anything else. He suddenly looks a bit uneasy, glancing anywhere but my eyes. Chad clears his throat, shoving his hands in his pocket. “So, since we’re all going to the same event, I thought it’d be okay that we went with Spencer. He offered to drive me, and since I had agreed to pick you two up, well…”

So that left Alpha Mason, Luna Kat, Alpha Sloan, Luna Hailey and Kaden going for the black Ford Jeep. Since the Jeep was a new model, it had three back seats, two middle seats then the passenger seat and the driver's seat. So seven people could ride in it which meant that everyone fit in nicely. Luna Kasey was left in the passenger seat while Carter was in the driver's seat. Alpha Wyatt and Alpha Nathan were in the middle seats while Luna Ashley, Alpha Clause and I were in the back seat.

I tell him and I’m stretching my neck and tiptoeing as if that would help me see any buses incoming. “It’s bad, K. It’s really bad. You need to get here fast and don’t take highway five! Take the other side! There’s been a huge accident so there’s major traffic everywhere. Please get here as soon as you can! We need all hands!” “Accident?! What acci–” Before I could finish my question, I heard someone call out a coding and Chad disappears.

He says sarcastically. "Bro, you should have seen that coming." Ryland chuckles. "I'm guessing he deserved that?" Alex questions. "One mistake... It was one mistake!" Chad exclaims as he takes his seat between Alex and Ryland. "Guys, not that I don't love this tension, but we have company." Chris yells at us from the driver's seat. Nammy was in the passenger seat and was holding Chris' laptop for him to see. "Two cars on our left. One on the right. I'm guessing they're his back up security." Nammy shrugs.
