Chad opened his eyes and saw that they were all at the center of a lonely highway with two high-speed trailers approaching them without showing signs of slowing down, the picture was clear and a disaster was inevitable! Chad had to think fast.

Chad looked at me and gave a shy smile. “Sorry, Vi, uh, can I borrow your car to pick them up? There’s no car available. The van’s already full with guests, and we need to leave. It’s really quick, they’re just on the third corner, in front of the convenience store. Is that okay?” He asked, looking uncertain. I didn’t say anything and just handed him the keys. I’m fine letting Azalea use the car. Chad smiled as he took the keys. “Thanks, Vi.” I just nodded, then he kissed Penelope on the forehead before leaving.
