Chad From 8 Passengers Novels & Stories

She got into the car by the passenger door, fastened her seatbelt, and only then did Jessica look at Terry and say, "I just ran into Chad earlier." Terry glanced at her and said, "The Sheppard family has gone bankrupt and liquidated. Hector was sentenced to seven years, and Tanya was sentenced to four years and eight months." "Um." Jessica responded, "I knew these." She spoke and paused for a moment, "Chad seems to have been quiet for the past few months, but he ran into me tonight and said something strange." Not long after the Sheppard family had an accident, Chad and Stephanie went overseas to seek refuge.

Henry on the other hand washes his food down with champagne. I wonder what Chad and the others are doing right now. Maybe they would come after me. But even if they try, they won’t know where I am that easily. I am also guessing that I must have about fifteen emails or more from Chad, but I will not be checking my laptop anytime soon. Good thing I don’t even have a phone, or it would be blown up with calls from them. “Please remain seated and have your seatbelts fastened as we land.” I hear on a speaker. I think it was the pilot.

I can't say I'm upset that in just another three hours, we will be at the Chimariko pack, and we plan to stay for a couple of days, so if anyone needs me, they'll have to come find me at the beach. I'm in the driver's seat of the large eight-passenger SUV. Luke is sitting next to me in the passengers seat. Lila and Ezra are in the back seat, and we are followed by two other SUV's. When I heard Lila's phone ring, she was a little on edge lately. I can tell it is Abigail on the phone based on the excitement and hesitation I see on her face when I look into the rearview mirror. I know she's been waiting to her back from her brother or at least hoping to hear from him.

Chad looked at me and gave a shy smile. “Sorry, Vi, uh, can I borrow your car to pick them up? There’s no car available. The van’s already full with guests, and we need to leave. It’s really quick, they’re just on the third corner, in front of the convenience store. Is that okay?” He asked, looking uncertain. I didn’t say anything and just handed him the keys. I’m fine letting Azalea use the car. Chad smiled as he took the keys. “Thanks, Vi.” I just nodded, then he kissed Penelope on the forehead before leaving.

He asks, turning to him “Eight” “So we have twenty minutes to get into position, let's go” Maddox says and turns away grabbing my hand. “Time to get into position, we have eight vehicles on the move heading this way” He announces to the waiting crowd, “Ready?” I just nod. Pulling one gun out from my holster I check the clip and turn off the safety, I then do the same with the other one.
