The popcorn flew in the air and came down as moon goddess blessing her favorite couple with beautiful lilies. A terrifying jumpscare flashes with a deafening sound effect. "Ah!" Pure reflex kicks in. Her internal GPS locks onto the safest place in the room, and she buries her face deep into Elias's chest, hiding like a frightened turtle. Above her, a deep, rumbling laugh vibrates through his chest, tickling her ear. "And here I thought you weren't scared of these things," Elias purrs. "I'm not! But I wasn't ready for a sneak attack!" she mutters against his shirt, the gruesome image still looping relentlessly in her brain.
