I use those images because they fit to my own description and actions.

She saw how Sue's eyes rolled when she saw the notebook on her hand. "You bring that customize notebook again." Sue grimace when Peach finally settled down on her seat. She just ignored her remarks and she focus on finding someone who will be a perfect new character in her story. "I was planning on joining a writing contest with an underrated platform." She loudly informs her friends about the upcoming writing contest. "Goodluck on that Peachie baby! You can do it! Just look at this crowded people and find the right characters for your new novel. And don't forget to feed us some free food, okay?" Peach is trying to analyze if Tobias is being sarcastic or not.

Her voice was thick with emotion. “Not just any journal,” he clarified, his gaze intent. “It’s filled with prompts. Things that made me think of you. Places we’ve been, conversations we’ve had, little moments I remember. And pages for you to fill in your own thoughts, your own dreams.” He opened it to a random page. “See? ‘Describe the feeling of standing under the summer rain after a long, hot day.’ Or, ‘If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?’ Just things to make you smile.

If anything, it made me more apprehensive about when he’d finally decide to ask. Taking a seat, I opened my laptop and the first thing I saw was my current WIP. The graphic sex scene I was writing about Damien and Irene greeted me, and I immediately palmed my face as I saved and exited the page. I went to my document page, and a long list of stories I’d written over the years, filled with different variations of Desmond and Isabel’s names greeted me, but I skipped over them all and opened the first one I ever wrote. Scott and Isabel. I shamelessly named the characters after us. I wrote the story like I was trying to manifest such a life for us, but it never worked.

I made an organized portfolio of everything I was going to go over in class. By the time I finished, I only had a few hours left until dusk, so I started to write the next chapter in my book. I started on a new character; a female book worm who had large ambitions and an even larger heart. She made friends easily and was never judged too harshly. She was the perfect character for my male lead, a heroic gentleman who would do anything for those he loved. With her intelligence and his strengths, they can conquer anything. As I reread the dialogue I created between the characters, I realized there were a lot of similarities between these characters and Tessa and myself.

LIAM MARTIN'S POV The screen glared at me, empty panels waiting to be filled with brilliance, and all I had to offer was…a half-dead brain and too much instant coffee. My studio—fine, Grayson’s guest room that I’ve colonized with sketchpads and ramen cups—looked like a battlefield. And I was losing. I dragged the pen across the tablet, trying to summon a new character. What came out? Another tall, broad-shouldered man with a jawline sharp enough to slice bread. Black suit. Cold blu eyes & blonde hairs. Menace radiating off him like bad Wi-Fi.

Cross-legged on my couch, sushi boxes between us, my laptop balanced on a pillow, Rachel types before I can object. “Username?” I mumble, “Professional Trainwreck.” She smirks. “Cute, but let’s sell aspiration, not despair. How about BrunchAndBanter?” “Kill me now.” She ignores me. “Bio?” “I’m a marketing exec with excellent credit and no free time.” She snorts. “Too honest. How about: Creative strategist who loves good coffee, bad puns, and long lunches I can call networking.”
