When I read her message, I felt an odd sense of disbelief. In such a short time, everything had come to an end. Xavier would never return to the life he was proud of. The career he had built and the prestige he flaunted were all gone. Even his long-time first love, his so-called soulmate, had given up on him. For reasons I didn’t fully understand, I decided to visit him. His hair was shaved short, and the face that used to be sharp and handsome now looked like it had aged a decade. His once-bright eyes were now dull and lifeless.

The First Elder of the Lagorio family flipped his hand and took a sword out, ready to attack. “Stop!” came the sharp order from the Lagorios’ Old Master. “Let him leave.” Xavier stopped walking and turned around to look at the crowd before gesturing with his hands. “Goodbye.” After he spoke, Xavier stepped with the tips of his toes and Chi appeared under his feet. He directly rushed upward into the sky and flew downward. Within several breaths, Xavier had disappeared from everybody’s sight.

Shit. As Halle thought back to her time at the University and how terribly it ended, her heart trembled, both with anger and fear. Xavier looked like he was ready to kill and seeing as he’d already proven that wasn’t something he couldn’t achieve, Halle found that she hesitated to say the words on her lips. She wasn’t a fool t think that Xavier was just a businessman who owned one of the largest corporations in the world. He was much more than that, that much their circumstantial meeting had made very clear.

Instead, he'd hid behind a cold front as protection. They chugged from bottles of water while walking inside and to the elevators. She thought about the other changes in Xavier, too. How he'd grown taller, built muscle along with an empire. Though sarcastic and dry, he had a great sense of humor. He was fiercely loyal to those that mattered to him. He still had a difficult time trusting people, but that was to be expected in his position.

Charles said. Charles and Logan alighted from the vehicle and walked towards the gate. When they were closer to the gate, Charles knocked on the gate twice. “I am coming…,” Xavier said as he walked towards the gate. He opened the gate and said, “I don’t think I have seen these faces before; please, who are you?”

I whimpered, and he stared at me like a real mad woman in the trashcan, "Xavier is more powerful than Xander. He is Xander's father and has numerous guards and dark magic. He sits on his throne in the Red Moon Pack's Royal Chamber and rarely comes out unless he is about to go to war. How on earth do you think of killing him in your entire life!!!" Hutton growled, gritting his teeth in fury. I bowed my head to the ground, reminiscing about his words. He was right: how would I ever kill Xavier? I won't gain access to him freely without losing my life!!!

Xavier felt he had been shot down. "Is that all you can come up with? So, you see her as bad luck? I hope you're not forgetting I'm the one in charge here, father. You have no right to come in here and tell me what to do. We mutually agreed on that before I took over the company." Mr Xi was astounded that Xavier could speak to him this way. Since the clerk came into the company, Xavier is slowly changing. Xavier never cares about a lady, but he found Charlotte's profile in his room, and he couldn't understand why he had it when he has nothing to do with the HR.

Mason scoffed, "Maybe you should work on the speed. You are the owner, aren't you? You could patronize the man called Flash. Impatient punk." Rob chuckled but quickly cleared his throat. "Well, I wouldn't be impatient if it wasn't for the cheap scent in this fucking place," Xavier said. Her heart clenched. Mason scoffed in disbelief. "Fucking crap," Xavier muttered. God, what happened to him? How did he become this awful? It really hurt. She heaved a sigh, still suppressing her tears. Soon, they reached the floor. The doors opened, and Xavier was the first to walk out of the elevator.

The utter lack of a reaction from the Supreme Alpha was the most terrifying thing Xavier had ever seen. Knowing his life was completely forfeit, and driven by the frantic desperation of a cornered animal, Xavier did not beg for mercy. He chose to fight. With a loud, guttural roar, Xavier’s body violently expanded. The fabric of his expensive tailored suit ripped to shreds as thick, dark brown fur erupted from his skin. His bones popped and cracked loudly, shifting his human frame into a massive, heavily muscled four-hundred-pound wolf in a fraction of a second.

I shrugged, claiming to be a fast learner, although I didn't understand why Xavier would be impressed by that. I held onto him tightly, savoring the sensation of wrapping my arms around this stunning man. I made sure to lean back slightly to ensure that my helmet wouldn't bump into him. Xavier was driving even faster than the night before, and it felt like a dream come true. It was as if we were soaring through the air, yet there was a profound sense of peace. I wasn't afraid; instead, I felt completely safe, an uncommon sensation for me. Unbeknownst to him, a single tear trickled down my cheek. I was captivated by the way this man made me feel. However, I knew I had to proceed with caution.
