“Come on in.” Chase walked in at Liam’s invitation wearing his traditional Guardianship attire. Bare chested with nothing but a white and brown short toga. I had never seen Chase with such little amount of clothes on before and the sight sent my blood rushing to the surface. I turned my head away, ashamed of my reaction to the sight of his bare chest. It’s not right to think of him in that way. “It’s almost time for the meeting. I just wanted to see if I could catch a ride with you guys.”

I stifled a gasp as I stepped into the bathroom and saw a powerfully sculpted man standing in front of the sink with his shirt off. I stared at him. His bare chest glistened with sweat. His breathing was ragged and uneven. His chest rose and fell in such a manner that I wanted to go tap him immediately. As I moved to see, I froze on seeing something. The shock had rooted my feet to the ground. Chase had a dragon tattoo on the side of his belly. But that was not what caught my attention. I squinted as I saw clearly little holes and dents on his skin and they absolutely had nothing to do with the tattoo.

Kaiden asked breaking into Chase's focus, the latter turned to see his friend, he looked his friend from head to toe, he nodded with his thumbs up. "Great! I was trying to control my breath when Jayden came and knocked on the door telling me to get dressed Hudson had come to pick me up to go to the site but was shocked that Jayden was allowing me to go as he had objected the previous day. Anyway, I had taken longer time than usual to get dressed, as I did not want to overdress or Hudson might think I had done it for him. I had worn a long cotton shirt and a blouse, which flaunted my cleavage and wore matching casual shoes with it. He had looked at me closely and smiled with amusement. Then taking his leave we both drove towards the site. I was quite nervous and did not dare look at him but I saw him glancing towards me occasionally.

He got out of bed to stretch when he felt he had almost recovered. "You're not wearing anything," Yara said coldly. "Um…" Chase stiffened from the awkwardness. He quickly dug through his storage pouch and found some clothes he had worn on Earth previously. The Skyfeather robe must have been taken off him by Willow and the others. Why did they strip him naked after he passed out? Chase was puzzled. "Where are my clothes? Why were all of my clothes stripped off me?"
