There is no party going on if you haven’t got a clue already.” “We are here to fight for our Alpha and Luna.” He declared and I tilted my head in confusion. “The Order had kept us on a tight leash for so long, so we were bound to follow his orders or we would have died. I shouted, but he was already running, his laughter echoing through the park. “Catch me if you can, Luna!” he called, his voice teasing and light. For a moment, I stood frozen, caught between irritation and amusement. Then, before I could stop myself, a grin spread across my face, and I took off after him. We weaved through the park, ducking between trees and overgrown bushes. My heart pounded in my chest, not from anger or fear, but from the thrill of the chase. Laughter bubbled out of me, unbidden and freeing.

I watched their silhouette heading in my direction and when their faces became clear I uttered the words I never thought I would say. “I, Arabella Hale, sever my ties with Blood Fang Pack. I renounce my place as your Luna…” I paused turning to Adrian whose looking at me with his blazing eyes, “and as your wife, Alpha Adrian Voss,” I didn’t wait for a response. I didn’t even dare to read their reaction. I run as fast as I can without any direction in my mind.
