Purple and apricot streaks stretched across its canvas, twinkling with the first silver stars. The setting sunlight caught the side of Hunter’s face as he turned to me and smiled. I grinned back. Life, I thought, wasn’t always easy. None of us had made it out unscathed – but we were all trying. We were all making the most of our second chance, of our new beginning. Though the darkness could feel never-ending, the sun always came up again. And, as I watched the sunset, held in Hunter’s arms, surrounded by my family, I knew it had all been worth it to end up here.

Pulling out the silver knife from my shoulders I barked orders to my Betas ‘’ we must find her first , she’s your Luna ‘’ ‘’Holy shit ‘’ I heard Jason cursed behind me as we went after her from the window. I was mostly stuck inside. But coming outside now, I felt so happy to be able to see the warm glow of the sunset. I sat on one of the numerous patio chairs littered across the garden. Chase sat by my side and dropped an arm around my shoulder as we both enjoyed nature's beauty. The breeze blew gently and my hair whipped across my face. I tucked it behind my ear and rested my head on chase's shoulder. Today had turned out to be amazing. I got to watch a movie with Chase and we played a lot of indoor games together.

Thinking about his next move. while Kristoff talked on until he fell asleep. There was a deafening silence, leaving Chance with his thoughts until he drifted off. Making up his mind before he did. He rolled on his side, closing his eyes, forcing himself to fall asleep. Chance groans, then flung his arm over his face to block out the early morning sunlight. He always hated where his room was situated. The sun bothered him the most both with the heat and the light.

Then I move towards the chairs in the glen. Even with how sacred this place was, Citra gave very little care for ceremony. There are two gaudy plastic lounge chairs like you would expect to see by a public pool in the glen. She had always wanted her body to be comfortable while her mind was projecting into the Astral Plane. She hated coming back into her body with a crick in her neck. Caleb and I sit and I get right to the point. I have never been one to beat around the bush. “I think that you need to take some time away from Fatima. I think that you need to really and truly search for your mate.”

She quickly finished it, quenching her thirst. I held her in my arms and let her doze off until right before sunset. The sun began its descent, and we sat on the trunk of my car, watching the sun cast hues of orange, pink, and purple across the sky, the ocean transforming into a shimmering canvas. The horizon becomes a seamless blend of water and sky, creating a breathtaking panorama that seems to stretch on forever. The darkness slowly crept upon us, and the light faded away. “This is my favorite time of the day. I guess it was my mother's too because her memory began with her watching the sunset and singing me a song.” Serenity began to hum to the tune of the song she heard.

Having no place to go I found myself following Lucien’s scent. I stumbled a few times as my heels dug into the pebbled pathway. Out of irritation I took my shoes off and walked barefoot, enduring the sharp edges of the stone that cut my feet. I feel like I did a full workout by just walking on that pathway. Why did they even park the car near the gate when they could have parked a meter away from the mansion’s front door?! And why didn’t that asshole even bother waking me up?! “See what kind of mate he is, Aurora? You really want me to entrust our lives to a man like him? He didn’t even bother waking us up and you expect him to spare our lives?”

Desire nodded comforted with Aling Ysang's words. ***** Desire had finally found her moment of peace. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden hue over the garden, and she had settled into her favorite spot beneath the oak tree, allowing the gentle breeze to soothe her frayed nerves. She closed her eyes, taking deep breaths, trying to push away the chaos of the day. But just as when she began to relax, a sudden commotion shattered her tranquility. “Hey, Desire! Look what I found!” Chase’s voice rang out, filled with a mischievous excitement that sent a chill down her spine. She opened her eyes just in time to see him approaching, a sinister grin plastered across his face.
