Iris was silent with her mouth slightly open. She was a 1456th Hunter who entered the organization. A number that didn't matter to remember, and Iris immediately touched her forehead.

I repeat, my teeth clenched as I notice Hunter's grip on the gun tightens. "Of course, sir." She comments, running out of the room. With each moment ticking by, the Reaper's patience seems to diminish. Hunter cocks the gun, getting ready to shoot me. "I'm not a patient man, Mr. Westshire." Hunter exclaims, pulling back on the trigger. I close my eyes instinctively, anticipating feeling a bullet pass through me. When I don't I slowly open one eye, wondering why I'm not screaming out in pain. "Do you like to play games?" Hunter asks, his face void of emotion.

She smiles to herself and clicks her fingers. Nothing happens. I still hear the heavy breathing of her oblivious guards. I still hear the beating heart of my mate. “What was supposed to happen?” I stare at her, but I also feel Xavi watching me. She clicks her fingers again, and then again, growing more irritated when nothing happens. ‘Nothing happened?’ Xavi asks, concern etched in his tone. “What the hell are you?!” Thalia snaps “A Hunter. A Witch Hunter.” I mutter just as there is an explosion somewhere above us.

I tighten my grip on the trigger as my heart hammers heavily in my chest. “Kill or be killed,” I breathe. Stace approaches the chopper and then opens the door and I narrow my eyes as I steel myself. Holy… fucking shit. The guard gets out and shakes Stace’s hand, and I follow his head with the gun. I go back to the chopper and follow the next head. Wearing a dark, clearly expensive suit, he slowly gets out and shakes Stace’s hand.

I breathed hard, dragging my body up as I crawled forward on all fours like a fucking dog. I didn't stop, didn't even look back, not even when the air around me stiffened. Not even when the animals went quiet and the trees froze as though they had held their breath. Because deep down, I already knew what this meant. Growing up, I heard stories, rumours by the other slaves about the Hunter's Territory. No one dared to cross last this line, not even Alpha's or Betas and especially, not Omegas like myself. This land belonged to someone or something more deadly and mysterious.

They stopped before me, the engines coming off one after the other. Henrique Crimson Sparrow took off his helmet, his short strawberry blonde visible under the full moon's light. He had a scar running down his chin. He smiled, stepping off his bike. “You nuts have a death wish, Xavier? Coming here alone?” I smiled back, a cold smile devoid of any humor. “Who says I’m alone?” Henrique Crimson Sparrow looked confused, and looked around the space. Henrique followed my movements with his eyes. Then, the forest came to life.

Even Rio and Emma stop kissing, looking down the path to see the offender. Like a shadow in the night, he appears. Hunter.
