Chief Of War Novels & Stories

Robert took a few steps forward, and when he looked up, he saw the bright moon. Just yesterday, the Changhe government had just appointed him as the Chief of the Army, the highest administrative officer of the Ministry of War. The military power is divided into different places, and the government does not have an army, but the army chief is still above the commander-in-chief of the Jun Norh. Robert knew very well that both Enoch and Bevis Jun wanted to win him over. Now the situation in Gand is complicated, so it is beneficial to each other, and the marriage with the Bevis family is to strengthen this connection.

For such a leader with the highest position in their village, there must be one or two warriors hiding in the shadows and ready to strike if needed, especially if his answer wasn’t good enough. That was a myth that Jin himself would later debunk. Through the years, the chief didn’t have a secret bodyguard or anything of the sort not like the government officials in the center city or the kings and queens on their books. Jin was the first ever to be formally appointed as the right hand of the chief of their village.

The leading rider stated “I strangely do not recognize you, but you're in the chief commander's amor. What happened to sir Lugar?” I asked “Pardon me for not introducing myself earlier, I am Wolfe, the chief commander of the king's army. And for sure Lugar, let's just say he retired early.” He said and chuckled. The situation was still confusing, but there wasn't time to waste. “I do not see your king, is he in his fancy room whilst your men risk their lives?” I asked mockingly.

Felicity nodded and told him about the chief of Admiralporium, whom he had never met. “Chief Kline, Warren Kline, is a warlord. I’m not sure of his particular level, but he’s beaten a warlord before. “He’s easygoing and dotes on his subordinates. He treasures Chief Rivera and us captains and always fights for a higher budget for us to the superior. “He loathes backstabbers because he was betrayed when he was younger and that caused a huge loss. “I don’t know about others, but the few of us who’ve spent rather long in Admiralporium and interacted with Chief Kline more often are respectful of him. We don’t feel the restraint or pressure of facing a superior with him either.”

"I felt like I owe her, so when she asked to see outside, I had to bring her with me." "Hmm. I hear you. Hurry up with that one and get back here, you two timer! And Chief? Remember, you are in charge of the warriors. We don't want that type of image. This is different from having a human, far from the pack, and a she-wolf within. It's troublesome, okay. You don't want one going after the other because of you. You and I know that's inevitable if you don't choose, Richie. Now, I can't control where you stick your rod. But you're family and two-timing within the pack? That's a No!"

But no one can deny that under his guidance, the tribe had produced more warriors that any other chieftains before him. Even his own son Buhawi acts very formal around him. So how is it possible that he allows the High Commander of the Royal guards to be at ease with him. The soldiers had the same thought. But more so with the general’s carefree attitude towards the scary chief. Eyes as cold as steel, the chief intimidated them. “I would like to exchange pleasantries but there is more pressing concern to handle.” The chief amicably declared, as the two started towards the prison cells.

They immediately fell silent, unwilling to irritate Henry, who was already worried. Alicia began her speech. “As everyone in the Kingdom of Veldera is aware, Nathaniel Lee has returned to his former position as General of War. However, the position of Deputy General of War remains vacant. Therefore, on this occasion, His Majesty will announce the soldier who will fill that position.” The dark-haired woman paused briefly before continuing. “In addition, besides appointing a Deputy General of War, His Majesty has also decided to replace the War Commanders of each division—the Army, Navy, and Air Force.”

I asked them. A couple of them looked away, unable to answer me. The doubt in their hearts was expressed by their countenance. And honestly, I couldn't blame them. The person I was up against taught me almost everything I knew regarding warfare. I was his prodigy. After we all thought he died, I assumed the role of War Chief, in honor of him. And have since remained the War Chief leading my people from victory to another victory against the rogues, liberating cities that they've terrorized and displaced their inhabitants.

he warned. I swallowed down hard, my head hung low. Commander Sage wasn’t an Alpha but he held the same power. He was the chief of the army, he was in charge of coronations and war strategies. He was a combat war lord and the pack’s judge. Anything he says goes and no one has ever been able to defy him and lived to testify it. “Do you understand?” His words shook my very core, adding a cooler sensation to the freezing water that was poured on me earlier.
