I headed up the stone stairs alone, though I could feel Kaelen’s elite guards tracking me from a respectful distance. As a high-ranking sportswear designer, I headed straight for a boutique carrying specialized, heavy-duty winter gear. I spotted a beautiful, beige wool hoodie in the window of a shop branded Northern Scent, a high-end line I used to wear back at the Blackthorne Pack Estate. I walked inside, my eyes scanning the racks before I turned to a young she-wolf salesgirl who was lounging on a velvet sofa, mindlessly scrolling through her phone. “Excuse me, do you have this wool hoodie in a small?”

Please” He says to Kylie. “Fine, grab a hoodie and lets go” Kylie says, ushering us out. “I can’t wait to see you in that hoodie” He whispers, kissing me on the cheek. My cheeks flush and I quickly change out of the jersey, folding it and placing it on Daniel’s dresser. His purple hoodie is down to my thighs and smells like Daniel.

Pick one.” He reached for a soft gray outfit with tiny wolf ears on the hoodie and held it up like a trophy. “This one. Baby Alpha style.”
