"You’re way too sensitive. I don’t even check social media much, okay?" I laughed bitterly as I typed. "If you don’t check, how come you still manage to like everyone else’s posts?" The screen showed she was still typing, but no message came through. I knew she was just buying time, trying to spin her words into something reasonable, but I saw right through it. She was doing it on purpose. A few minutes later, her reply popped up. "I didn’t realize you were that sensitive. It’s just a post. Are you really going to argue with me over something that small? I don’t have time for all this drama. Girls like you always make things complicated."

Alpha Leo’s POV She looked at me with confusion in her eyes. She couldn't believe what I said for a moment as her mouth opened and closed on its own. “What… What was the meaning of what you just said? Games and rules? Why would an Alpha play games in his mansion? Are you going to create some gaming stations in the mansion where you and I will be playing games?” She asked, feigning ignorance, but it was clear to me that she knew that wasn't what I meant.

She stood there with her eyes slightly lowered, looking lost in thought and not moving. The old me would probably have been on edge, my fingers trembling in an unbearable mix of hope and heartbreak. I would have been suffocating from the bitter feeling of knowing the girl I cared about with all my heart was still hung up on another guy. But now, the feeling wasn't as strong. I didn't want to watch them, so I followed Samuel and his friends to the card table. A few rounds in, I had lost a decent amount of cash. Irritated, I excused myself and stepped out into the hallway for a smoke.

I had thought I would calmly expose his lies, but my body couldn't help but tremble as I spoke. "You disgust me! Since that's the case, I'm done playing this game. Go, be happy with her." Shane didn't expect me to know the truth, and he couldn't even form a proper sentence. "W-What do you mean, you're done playing this game?" "I'll leave this world. I won't appear in front of you anymore." A trace of panic appeared on Shane's face. He clenched his fists, but with so many people around, he still forced a smile. "That's got to be a bluff! Your mission's not complete yet, so your sister will die!"

I could not believe the arrogant Dave was about to play the game too. Tala shrugged of the thought of Dave embarrassing her as she joined us. I sat quietly... I was suppose to leave, what am I still doing here? "You! Tala pointed at me..is your turn." And i swear, my heart skipped. I looked at Kelly immediately and she nodded at me. Oh heavens! Help me not to fall into the wrong number. With a shaking hand, I picked one of the paper after Tala explained the game a little to the "C boys". It was 7 papers that were yet to be picked after i took mine.

Calling me. The game is on.

I didn't exactly know what I was getting myself into but I need something to distract myself or I might end up doing something that will reveal our 'relationship' with the others. "What game?" he asked, his eyes boring straight to my soul. "Cham Cham Cham? The winner gets to flick the loser's forehead," I told him and he groaned. (Cham Cham Cham is a game also named as On-Two-Look in other countries. 2 players face each other, and player 1 points at player 2’s face and says “one, two, look.” And on the word “look” they point in a direction. If the other player copies the other, they lose)

Chase smiled and looked at Adrian, “Does that mean you’re in to?” he asked, thinking he needed to get as close as he could with him before he put his little plan in to motion. Adrian drank some of his water and looked at him, “I guess I am” he said before he looked over at Aria, thinking she looked excited. Chase quickly set up the game and looked over at them both, “I’m not sure if you guys have played this game before but basically you take seven letters from this small sack and make the best word you can on this board” he explained.

“Noisy? We'll correct me if I'm blind, but I don't see anything we could play a game with. “ I stated, glancing around and he shrugged his shoulders. “Shouldn't you ask what the game is first off before talking? “ He mused, and that sounded just about right to me. “Yeah, what game is it?” I asked just as he had advised, and he blurted out laughing indefinitely. “Never mind about that, you'll soon find out. “ He assured, and almost immediately some guards came in with a brownish board and laid it in the center of i and Alaric. As they turned the board, I finally knew what the game was, just as Alaric had presumed. Chess! This was my favorite game whenever I was bored and just cleared my head

He goes to the bedside table to pick up a pen and book. “You’ll see after we play this game.” He starts to scribble something on the book before giving me the rules of the game. “You have options A & B. Just pick any of the letters at random, the place or city that falls under the letter is where we go, are we good?” Okay, now I’m interested, in “DEAL”! “So it’s time to pick, A or B?” He questioned giving me time to think as I was contemplating on which to pick hoping to not pick an answer I wouldn't like.
