It would quite literally be a house inside the Compound. I looked for Xander in our shared suite, and he wasn't there, so I went next door to his suite and knocked, not wanting to give Chef Lo Faso instructions if Xander had already done it. I didn't look for Elias, knowing he was still at work. Not finding Xander, I went downstairs to speak with the chef when I saw him walking toward us, talking to another tall, good-looking man. "Oh, Kalyssa!" Xander reached for me as he approached, and then kissed my cheek. "This is Gray Garza, Alpha Supreme of the Western Region. Gray, this is my betrothed, Dr. Kalyssa Carran, veterinarian."

Deep inside… It terrified her. Draven noticed the hesitation instantly. His smile returned slowly. “Oh,” he whispered. “There it is.” Chris’s power exploded outward violently. The ground beneath them cracked slightly under the force of his rage. “Touch her again,” Chris snarled, voice no longer fully human, “and I will tear your heart out.” Several rogues visibly recoiled. Even Draven’s expression sharpened with interest. Then suddenly Tyler drove his elbow backward into the rogue holding him. Chaos erupted instantly. Chris lunged forward as his pack shifted immediately.

Chapter One Hundred and Three Cole’s Point of View ‘Seriously… you’re this amazing Vampire-Killer. You?!’ He just grinned and he continued to walk towards me... ‘Surprised?’ He asked ‘Well... You don’t exactly look like a Killer’. ‘Don’t underestimate me. Your pathetic side-piece did’. I was confused by that. What did he mean, ‘’My Side-piece’’? Sensing my confusion, he grinned again. ‘Christopher Knight’. ‘Chris?’ Anger boiled up inside me. ‘What the fuck have you done to him?, He hasn’t done anything to you!’ Throwing his head back, he let out a loud laugh. I bared my teeth, warning him.

he asked. "Yes sir. Damon" Chris said as he stared up at Damon in confusion, waiting for the axe to fall. "I met him a few weeks ago, I was sent to raid a vampire den, I was cornered in a room in the basement and, he... saved me. I was surrounded, I watched as he fought them off, he was... magnificent" he said proudly, raising his head in defiance. "Have you mated him?" Damon asked with a sad smile at the way Chris talked of his mate, dreading the answer. He knew he would be severely reprimanded for not reporting this to the authority, but he couldn't do it, consequences or not.

He said plainly. Miya watched him closely, and she couldn't tell if he was angry or not. She heaved a sigh and remained quiet. Levi opened the door, and in came Chris in a white shirt and black trousers, looking dangerously charming as usual. He was about the same built as Xenon, both tall and slim, and definitely qualified to be a world top model. Xenon sat up, watched Chris for a bit, and asked icily with a sneer, "Who are you, may I ask?"

When I think about the past, I get a strange feeling that makes me sweat. Before he looked at the visible kingdom, Xavier looked at me with no interest. "You're lucky that you don't remember a scary time in your life..." Xavier said in a cold way. "About Wesley, though... As I said, there's something wrong with him, so be careful." When I heard Wesley's name, I forgot everything and felt angry again. "—You! Is it true that you can hold our wolf back?!" I said it while my eyes got smaller.

As I decided to use my fangs and taste his blood, Chris showed up from nowhere - the real Chris. " Wait ... Stop ... Don't" He shouted as he was trying to calm me down, which I did. I was feeling more relaxed after meeting him. Still, I've had no idea why Chris was trying to save that exact vampire from my hold. I took a step away from the vampire that was beneath my hold, and before I utter any word or question -Chris decided to speak. " He is one of us!" " One of you?" I asked since I was totally confused by now," Who are the 'you', you're talking about?"

Chris hesitated, there was no way he could let Lewis fight alone against more than ten werewolves. "What kind of leader leaves the fight just like that?" Ignoring Lewis who tried to stop him, Chris immediately bit the wolves with his fangs. "Lewis! What are you waiting for? Help me!" Lewis smiled with relief. Although he had originally told Chris to go first, he really needed help to fight these werewolves before the warriors came. "Haha okay!" Chris and Lewis' battle with a group of the rogues was quite intense. Chris continued to show his fangs, trying to intimidate them. Then not long after, some warriors arrived. The battle against the rogues was resolved more quickly.

Tuesday begins and oddly, Valerie and Chris have been quiet. Chris did not return home at all last night, despite his promise in teaching me about werewolf stuff. I guess he had a more important pack business to attend to. Chris came back to the house this morning though and he has been so tensed up ever since. Valerie was alerted about the situation last night, so after our little werewolf lesson, had to end earlier than I expected. She went out last night, too, which is why she’s dozing off in the passenger seat.

I stared at the lifeless body of the woman on the floor and the man he’d brought to me. This would give me power. I could finally get back at those I wanted to get back at and not have to worry about being weak. The reason I couldn’t win against them all this time was because they were vampires—and inherently more powerful and influential. This would give me that. That power. I couldn’t believe Chris agreed to do this. Maybe I had underestimated him. “Is Chris a vampire too?” I asked, and he shook his head. “Dante would never turn him. He's too weak. He doesn’t want to steal his humanity,” he explained, and a smile spread across my face.
