Steamy Dreams
I bent down, putting her stomach on my shoulder and picked her up, holding the back of her knees to my chest, just like I did when she was little.
She sang, leaning over my shoulder, as if nothing had changed for her. "Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say 'Rudolph with your nose so bright won't you guide my sleigh tonight?' He had a really shiny nose, daddy."
"Yes he did, babygirl. I know that."
"I wish I had a shiny nose," she giggled, then broke right into song again. "Then how the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee 'Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer you'll go down... on... me!'"
