Polar Express When Christmas Comes To Town Song นิยาย & เรื่องราว

Eleven people total, more manageable than Thanksgiving but still significant. Charlotte was vibrating with excitement. “Santa comes TONIGHT! After we sleep! Presents TOMORROW!” “Yes, but first you have to actually sleep. Santa doesn’t come until children are sleeping.” “I’ll sleep SO FAST! The fastest sleeping EVER!” James was equally excited but less articulate. “Santa! Santa coming! PRESENTS!” Dinner was lovely Catherine’s traditional Christmas Eve menu, everyone together, children behaving reasonably well given excitement levels. After dinner, Charlotte insisted on reading “The Night Before Christmas” to the whole group.

Just little touches here and there that we’re making my body sing and my wolf prance. But that was all we’d done physically. It was honestly driving me crazy. I was staring to wish he’d just jump my bones. Rachel was having a field day giving me shit about it. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we’re wonderful. We’d gone into the town because they held a parade. Cristoff was in heaven and Rachel and I were having the times of our lives. We played tons of games and watched movies. It even snowed that night.

Judy whispered, like she was afraid her joy might scare Malaya away. Malaya's smile was smaller this time—still shy, but real. "Merry Christmas, Grandma Judy." Judy's hand flew to her mouth. Tears spilled without permission. "Merry Christmas, sweetheart," she breathed. "Oh… thank you for calling me." Jerry leaned into view, impatience playful. "And what about me, huh?" Malaya giggled. "Merry Christmas, Pawpaw." Jerry's entire face lit up. "That's my girl!"

LEIGH-ARI The six-inch-thick snow gloved the land in its glorious white, the green pine trees marring the land with their branches carrying heavy snowflakes that piled together on them. The Christmas song can be heard swirling in the air, reminiscing the events of the long, sad year, while also soothing and lulling away the pain caused by the unfortunate predicaments that had befallen us. The song beckoned the coming of a new year, carrying in its melody the promises of a better year full of love, unending happiness, and all the blessings in abundance the universe had in store for us.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?" Jaxon said low and careful from his place at the door to the living room, his hand resting on the frame. His eyes were on me, like he was trying to gauge whether I meant it when I said everything was fine. I stood at the window, staring out as snow fell in languid flakes, casting a pale luminance over everything in sight. Christmas was looming, yet somehow, it didn't feel quite as festively joyful as it had other years.

Ray sings. “There is just one thing I need.” I join. “I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree,” Jordan sings while we stay quiet. “I just want you for my own,” I say. “More than you could ever know.” Ray sings, gazing at me. “Make my wish come true,” Jordan says, looking at me. Eyes on the road, please. “All I want for Christmas is you.” We all chorus, pointing to one another. In no time, we see the Bakers’ gigantic estate gate bars, all covered with literally uncountable strands of twinkle lights. As we drive in, we feed our eyes with the Christmas decorations from different angles of the estate.

Her eyes were downcast, the frown still etched on her face, as though she couldn’t quite be part of this moment. But for the others, they continued, the melody lifting our spirits, and I found myself smiling as I sang the last part with ease: “I’ve got this Christmas song in my heart (Song in my heart), I’ve got the candles glowing in the dark, I’m hanging all the stockings by the Christmas tree, Oh, why? ‘Cause that’s Christmas to me…” “Merry Christmas, everyone!” Charlotte exclaimed, clapping her hands together. “Merry Christmas!” the rest of us echoed.

Not that the words are hitting home for me this Christmas, the song has lost a bit of it's appeal. Santa Clause is Coming to Town and I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause later and I have my gifts wrapped and near the tree, since there are way too many to fit under there, I stand up and stretch. Wyatt has two more gifts to wrap, so I ask, “Want me to finish those and you can bring in your gifts?”

**LIA** #Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane...# The familiar holiday tune played softly in my headphones, transporting me to a festive world despite my current surroundings. I closed my eyes, eagerly anticipating my journey back home. I was on a plane, en route to Singapore to reunite with my mom and sister, marking the beginning of a much-needed break from school. It had been a long time since I had been home, and I was determined to make this Christmas special.

Lowering myself to her level, I held her shoulders gently and brushed a strand of hair from her face. “No,” I said softly. “No, honey. You just had a nightmare. That’s all.” She didn’t look convinced. “Mummy has no reason to hurt Daddy,” I added quickly. “I’ll be back soon. And guess what? We’re spending Christmas here with Grandma and Uncle Elliot.” Her face lit up instantly. “Yeah.” “I’m just going to get a few things for Christmas,” I said. “I’ll be back.” I turned away before she could ask anything else.
