I was happy that Damien was here too. I looked at my phone and decided that it was time for me to watch Christmas movies. I always watch the 24 hour marathon of the movie "The Christmas Story." It was my favorite. Wasn't nothing gone keep me off my couch with a bowl of popcorn. I could watch it all day and night. I never got tired of it.

I nodded and followed her to our little angels' room. Samantha tucked in Poppy, and I tucked in Violet. Poppy and Violet couldn't sleep without listening to bedtime stories, especially Poppy. I brought out the story we'd be reading tonight, "The Christmas Cookie," since Christmas was just a few weeks away. Samantha and I started reading the story, making it more real by adding sound effects with our mouths. Our little angels giggled, "awwn" ed, and pouted their lips until they fell asleep.

Lowering myself to her level, I held her shoulders gently and brushed a strand of hair from her face. “No,” I said softly. “No, honey. You just had a nightmare. That’s all.” She didn’t look convinced. “Mummy has no reason to hurt Daddy,” I added quickly. “I’ll be back soon. And guess what? We’re spending Christmas here with Grandma and Uncle Elliot.” Her face lit up instantly. “Yeah.” “I’m just going to get a few things for Christmas,” I said. “I’ll be back.” I turned away before she could ask anything else.

She stares at each and everyone here that has been a part of her life while growing up. She might have felt like she has been forgotten by the fairy world for a while back then, but spending her time in the human world is something she would never trade even if she is a Princess in her own fairy realm. After dinner, everyone settle at the sofa and exchange gifts. They sip warm chocolate once more as each one shares their story about Christmas. Caspian and Bran enjoy listening to these stories of the holiday most especially about Santa and his elves. Later in the evening, the parents of Jo excuse themselves to leave but as usual, Jo stays behind.

Forced to question things they had known their entire lives. “What about Christmas trees or Easter? All of these things are based on something that happened a long time ago. Those stories have evolved, and we just accept them for what they are because that’s what we’ve been programmed to do. While we know Santa isn’t real, for many of us, our childhoods were filled with stories about Santa and many of us still believe in Christmas miracles. This is because we have our own version of mythology. It’s not nearly as cool as the Greek version, but it’s essentially the same thing.”

"I want to spend Christmas with my dad this year, I don't want to do anything special, I just want to spend Christmas like a normal family." "Your dad is always with you, sweetheart," I told her, before I remembered the reason why Arthur disliked Christmas. "Well, I pray your wish would be granted." But Hayley nodded, her excitement palpable as she continued to narrate what she had heard from her Christmas stories. "I heard somewhere that if I write my wishes on a note and send it as a letter to Santa Claus, he will make my wishes come true. I hear he is in the North Pole, I just don't know what part it is. So I need to know where he lives so I can write the a

Holly admitted. "You're named after a plant common at Christmas, and yet I sense no Christmas spirit." Santa huffed. "I was named after god." she corrected. "Ah, Holy?" he asked. The blonde just nodded. "But you share a name, doesn't that mean something?" he asked. Holly heaved a sigh. "I decorated my home with my sister and friends," she began. "I helped build a snowman, made lots of sweets, and I'm making everyone Christmas jumpers." Holly turned to him, greeny-brown eyes bright with newfound vigor.

but not here. Richard listens to all this, his face intent, but he chuckles, shaking his head ruefully. "Yes, and last Christmas was no picnic either, was it? You three hunted by Klempner´s men and, well, getting my offices attacked and set on fire wasn´t exactly my first choice from Santa." He gives her a long look. "I imagine that Christmas when you were a child, in the Blessingmoors Home, was nothing to celebrate either?"

Arthur tells me. “What are your Christmas traditions?” Max asks; he’s finally back with us. “Ah, the Christmas spirit is designed for children. The joy of Christmas for adults is seeing the joy on the faces of the pack's pups. Every November, the adults come together to make an activity advent calendar for the pups. An example of this would be; on the 1st of the month, we decorate the pack land. On the 2nd, we hold our official secret Santa draw. On the 3rd, we write out our Christmas cards. On the 4th, we hold our Christmas fancy dress party, and we always put our Christmas trees up on the 13th. We include activities such as watching Christmas movies, Christmas cookie and cake baking, and a

Lenox pov “You know, back home we have this thing we call Christmas. Do you have Christmas?” I ask Ragh to distract myself from the boredom of walking. “No,” he grumbles and glances at me. “What is that?” “Oh, it’s no biggie, only like the best damn day in the entire year, asshole!” I gasp. “You get loads of gifts, the best food and you spend time with your family near the fireplace while it’s freezing cold outside.”
