Chuck Norris 3 Internal Enemies Novels & Stories

At 2:17 a.m., I walked out of my third emergency spleen surgery that night. My scrubs were drenched, cold against my skin. I stood in the locker room, scrolling through my phone to check tomorrow's schedule. Then a notification popped up. Mentions of my name had gone from single digits to thousands. I tapped it. Trending locally. Number three. #HospitalExploitsInterns# The attached image was a security shot outside the OR. The timestamp read 02:13:47.

"You won't go? Fine. I quit. I won't go either. Whether the client calls the police or the project gets stalled–I don't care! If I'm going down, none of you are going to get away with it either!" I called the chairman, Richard Walters, and told him about my deregistered identity and intention of resigning. Richard came to the office in rage, forcing Edward and Jenny to apologize to the clients and explain everything. Richard did not want me to quit in such a rash manner, though. He gave me a month to think about it. In that month, Edward brought Jenny along to visit every client. Unsurprisingly, every client would text me about her. [What kind of unprofessional intern does your company hire?

I muttered in my heart, my fingers drumming hard against my thigh. Evan passed the puck to the second player on his left and then ran forward. Zack also approached them, ready to take the puck from the player at any time, but the player passed it to the third player, and he passed it to Evan instead. My eyes darted at the digital clock, then back to Evan. Thirty-one more seconds.

I’m requesting a refund! [Does anyone else find it weird that not one of her coworkers backed her up in that group chat?] [Request your refunds now before this witch runs off with our money!] Vivian’s face turned deathly pale. She stammered, unable to form a clear sentence. “I didn’t actually see what happened in that room. But even if nothing happened there, they definitely did it at a hotel. Guys, you have to trust me! Please don’t request those refunds.”

The cigar slipped from Lucien’s mouth. The entire room froze. I spoke calmly. “Now I have chips.” “So tell me, Lucien.” “Are you calling or not?” Thirty minutes remained before the moment I died in the crocodile pit in my last life.

The council room wasn’t built for this much anger. Kaela stood near the window, arms crossed tight, trying to ignore the sharp smell of wolf-sweat, steel, and panic clinging to the air like smoke. Half the Frostclaw warriors hadn’t even sat down. The other half kept throwing glances at Ronan like he was already the enemy. He wasn’t even trying to look friendly. Good. Let them feel the edge of him. Kaela did. “Rogues hit one of our outposts last night,” said Gamma Thorne, slamming a marked map onto the table. “No survivors. No tracks. Just... gone.”

“My family’s safe, ma’am. You, on the other hand, are not.” He wasn’t wrong. If anything, I was far from safe. Brooke wanted me dead, and after having her arrested just yesterday, I was certain she’d want revenge. Dad might want me dead, too, considering the law suit I had sent his way. In a world with billions of people, I somehow managed to collect more enemies than friends as time passed. “Thank you,” I responded softly. His smile widened, then his eyes lit up like he remembered something. “Please hold on, ma’am.”

Cedric POV I sat in the courtyard, my annoyance simmering like a pot about to boil over. It had taken my aunt two agonizing days to return with the Warriors, and now I was faced with the devastating news of their ambush. The weight of their losses settled heavily on my shoulders as Beta delivered the grim report. "It happened unexpectedly, and before we could all flee to safety, three warriors were unfortunately killed," Beta said, her voice laced with regret. Marci's face twisted in anger and grief. "Because of your carelessness, three pack mates lost their lives! As a beta, you're really failing in your job." His words cut deep, and I could see the pain and frustration etched on his face.

Fearing that he might embarrass himself right there, he fled from the room muttering something indistinct under his breath. ******************************** A private meeting reserved for special people only… “Have you seen the look on their faces?” exclaimed Devin Richard Crighton the following day in his living room. His private meeting consisted of his two best friend Nash Cooper and Sean Palmer. Including his son Jake a new recruit. “They did not know what hit them until it was too late!” Jake explained chuckling gleefully. “Tell me about it!” Nash was most eager to put it as they clinked their champagne glasses in celebration to the fact that his only son Ashton Jacob Cooper was finall

I bite my nails and search the room for a weapon, anything to defend myself with, but unfortunately, there is nothing. Fuck! What if this new guy gets hungry and steals all of my food? I would have a hard time ascertaining dominance over this thick bastard—my new roommate must be over seven feet tall, which isn't normal, and he is all sinewy muscles and brawn! Double fuck! My day has suddenly turned into a disaster. I'm hungry, and breakfast might be served within two hours. Shit! What if this bastard decides to eat all of my rotten apples? I'm all skin and bones, and this man resembles Hercules's cousin!
