"Mages are a force to be reckoned with as is. I can’t even begin to imagine how much more powerful dark mages are than them." "We’ll have to recruit mages to our cause." Haidan said, slowly taking charge. "That’s the only way we are going to be able to take them on." I opened my mouth to speak and then closed it. This was all too much to take in. All my life, I never once saw any creature from the inbetween, which is saying something since I was practically raised in the military. How the fuck was it even possible that this was happening now out of nowhere?

When their turn came they introduced themselves and when the secretary scanned Cassy's bracelet to verify her information she opened her eyes wide and said to them, "Miss Johnson your case is a bit peculiar, excuse me for a moment please." She stood up and went to close the door before returning to them and sitting back down at her desk, "As you may already know mages who have a potential of level 8 and above are extremely rare and therefore receive special treatment within our academy. Unlike most students, you will progress quickly and your needs will be different, you will need more credits than them to continue to progress. So the head of the mages has already reserved a spot for you in

“I’m so happy for them. To lose their first child and then to get twins on the next go. They are going to have their hands full! One baby is a handful so can you imagine two? Double diapers, double feedings.” “Double crying... Jo, I know you can do it!” I said as we chuckled together. “I think I want Arthur to help Bart take care of her. Valerie can help me with Alexander.” “Nathan is going to work on getting three or four of the higher intermediate Mages to Advanced this week. Mazifik has an interesting system- Instead of employing soldiers, you have Mages. They double as guards and normal sentry. Chiri could hear their malicious whispers. Dhryzic’s were abominations for mages. They were criminals that possessed no dark magic lineage, but who had the audacity to use it for their own purposes. Unlike elemental mages, anyone that displayed even a remote affinity for magic could become a dark mage through study. However, to do so without descending from a family that held a long tradition of dark magic was forbidden. Considered, the bane of pureblooded magic mages Dhryzic’s were abominable creatures, only deserving of the lowest positions within their society.

Cessare had told them not to go up to witness the battles because it would only aggravate their nervousness, so all Akana and Ceren could do was wait. Then the emissary came in. "Akana den Rifabeinn," he proclaimed, and Cessare spoke quietly with the emissary before he rushed away. "Get a move on! Your first opponent is a Windmage, so this should go fast," said Cessare. All the Firemages in the room rushed back and forth. Akana got a medallion with Mayin's seal on. Two spires, which crossed each other in a rune decorated circle. The boy before him simply looked at him, as if he was merely asking a simple everyday question. He finally nodded, the slate turned upside down. The highest power in all of magedom.” “I see,” I said, and then turned to look at Jaye for a moment who was trying to look all innocent. I turned back to him. “So where does the Council of Mages fit into all of this?” He looked at Jaye, too. “You didn’t explain to her?”

Then there was Eric; the one with the most diverse sets of Magic-based Skills among all of them. Even though he had the C-Tier Class of Mage, his Skills ranged from A-Tier abilities like [Grand Sound Magic], to B-Tiers like [Greater Corrosion], [Greater Explosion], and even a couple of C-Tier stuff like [Blindness] and [False Pain]. He was a true Mage—a jack of all trades, though master of none. If he had a better Class, there was a chance he could give Belle a run for her money.
