He left, leaving Freya no choice but to wait for his return that night.
Unfortunately, Freya slept before Kenneth could return. It was already morning when she finally had the chance to speak to him.
Kenneth knocked on her door at six a.m.
He invited himself in but for a good reason.
“Kenneth,” she said, clearing her throat and sitting up on the bed.
He was carrying a tray filled with small portions of food—two small bowls of yogurt with chia seeds and fruits on top and breakfast canapés. There were mini Korean pancakes and egg muffins packed with vegetables, as well as avocado toast and caviar toast.
