The music stopped and she was brought back to reality, where she is dancing alone in a dark and empty room.
That's enough music for today.
She turns off the recorder and the silence grows louder. She hears a car pull into the driveway, walking over to the window, she pulls the curtains out of the way. It was Charles, stepping out of his limo
"He came back" a smile grew wide on her face and butterflies were flying circles around her heart.
She runs to the room on the other side of the hallway, jumps on the bed, and overs her head with a blanket.
From under the blanket, she could hear the door creaking open, and the heavy sighs of her beloved.
