Clarke Griffin Lexa Novels & Stories

“Don’t mess with me, Sasha.” Suddenly, Sasha’s phone pinged with a notification. She checked it and saw a headline that made her heart sink even further there was a picture of Ethan with Grace at the dinner party with a headline reading: “The Cold Heir of the Leo Empire, Ethan Leo, Reunites with Childhood Sweetheart Grace Cringe.” She held her phone up for Ethan to see. “Everyone knows Grace as your girlfriend now. No one knows that I’m your real girlfriend,” she said bitterly. “Grace is beautiful, though. She suits you.”

I said and yanked my phone out of his hand. The moment I got outside and out of prying eyes, I looked down at my phone, his number was boldly written across the screen while his name was in tiny letters under it. I couldn't help but squeal in happiness, on the inside though, can't have them thinking anything of it. Blake's POV

with a voice like wailing cats, Lexi’s confidence was seriously misplaced, but it made me smile nonetheless, which was no mean feat at the moment. “Thank you Lex, what have you got for me there?” “It’s from all of us at Clarence Co. Happy Birthday lovely! You’re going to need it when you hear what I have to say after this..” The thousand watt smile faded from Lexi’s face and I knew it was going to be bad news.. “Lex.. just tell me please.. what’s going on? What do you know that I don’t..”

She crossed her legs, looking completely satisfied with the despicable actions of her clan member. Marcus shook his head. “That’s where you’re wrong. My daughter is mated to the alpha of that wolf pack that your clan member attacked.” He sat back, crossing his arms over his chest and pasting his own satisfied smirk on his face. “So, Leah had every right to interfere. And since my clan and the Winston Pack are now allied through marriage, that makes it my business.”

“I just wanted to check on you. Everything’s been… intense.” “I’m fine.” “And Lena?” I stiffened. “She’s resting.” Xenia nodded slowly. “That’s good. After what happened, I imagine she needs it.” “What are you getting at,” I asked. Her smile thinned. “Nothing. Just concern.” “Funny,” I said. “You’ve never cared before.” A flicker crossed her eyes. Gone fast. “I care about you,” she said. “I didn’t ask.” She stepped closer, lowering her voice. “People are scared, Griffin. They don’t understand what they saw.”

On the contrary, she found it amusing to see Samantha deceiving her cheating ex-boyfriend. “What a pathetic sight.” Grace rolled her eyes while staring at Samantha and Leonidas. “How could he trade you for her?” “I’m relieved it happened.” Chloe pulled her phone out of her bag, unlocked the screen, and showed the proof to Grace. “Now do you understand Leonidas deserves the woman he has?” Grace’s lips parted quickly, and she covered them to keep from screaming. She snatched Chloe’s phone and sent the image to her device. “Don’t do something reckless, Grace.” Chloe’s trembling hands snatched the phone back. “No one can see this, or I’ll lose my job.”

I don’t think I’ve seen you before,’ she says with her mischievous grin. ‘Uhm… Ms. Johnson, I’ve always been here. You’ve always failed to acknowledge me every time you come barging into Mr. Colfer’s office,’ Lexi retorts. ‘Oh, I’m sorry, cutie,’ she was the least bit remorseful. ‘I didn’t know you were there. I would, now that I know. Can I just borrow him while we’re here?’ Clara teases. Sebastian glares at Lexi. ‘Make yourself scarce when she’s around.’ Lexi gulps, ‘Yes, sir!’ If people did not know Sebastian and Clara were together, that announcement and the frown he was wearing had clarified everything.

“I knew you were never meant to carry my legacy.” “You mean the fraud?” Clarke snapped. “The lies? The dirty secrets you stuffed behind foundation grants and fake press? No, I wasn’t meant to carry it, right? I was meant to pose in front of it, smile for the cameras, wear a suit you picked out, and say things you approved.” “Sit down,” he barked. But Clarke didn’t move. He looked flushed, wild with disbelief and something close to grief.

Alexa was not having a field day at all. Her children were troubling her on the one hand and the three parts of her were not taking it easy on her either, especially Lexa. 'How could you slap him when you know he did no wrong!' Lexa said. 'Were you blind?' Alexa replied. 'Didn't you see what he was trying to do? He was trying to take advantage of me!'

Otherwise, I would have paid more attention. I definitely would, now that you're on my radar. Can I just borrow Lexi while we’re here?’ Clara teases.
