As they got in the van to leave Oda looked at CJ, “How reliable is Johnson with a weapon. I know she got two shots in but how much of that was luck?” “Not luck,” CJ stated. “Let’s say if she was on one side and a cliff was on the other, I’d take the cliff because there is more of a chance I would survive.” “That good?” Oda asked. “I’d match her with any of yours, and she would blow them out of the water,” Cj smiled, and then it turned deadly, “She is that good.” “Well, then they are safe,” Nobunaga said. “They are safe, for now,” CJ said.

Plenty of chances but an inadequate amount of self confidence. The day took its worst as the victorious team left the gymnasium for celebration. Sudden bursts of thunder and downpour dampened the high spirits of the team and begrudgingly they had to part ways and make for home because Coach Yves strictly ordered to not get wet in this off season rain. Monroe and the boys bought umbrellas from the campus store and respectively left for their places. Monroe to the Private Dorms and the boys to their shared apartment. "Who was that chick with Monroe today?" Ken questioned, hitching his sports bag higher. "New friend?"

comes a man’s voice from the door. “I am, don’t scare me like that,” I shout. I carefully walk through the maze of glass, but it's difficult. Very difficult. With every step, I wobble, and teeter, side to side, because the wooden floors are angry with me. The carpet doesn’t want to be my friend, and I fell to the floor, getting glass into my arm, and I cried out. Everything goes dark and I know why it was some bad sugar. It was spiked. No wonder Seth was in such a rush to get me to my room.

If my scholarship got flagged, if my standing dropped, I lost the one stable thing keeping any of this together at all. Stella exhaled slowly. "Then we get the money another way. Starting tonight." I looked at her, and something in my chest untangled slightly, just from not being alone in it, even though nothing about the situation had actually gotten easier. "The car," I said. "The car," she agreed.

Jay clearly hadn't expected me to agree. He hurriedly said yes, and we exchanged room cards on the spot. Taking advantage of Simon's distraction, we went upstairs and quietly swapped our luggage. That night, after a few team-building games, the company moved on to drinking contests. We split into groups to play Truth or Dare—losers had to drink. Before the game started, I had already taken some hangover medicine. During the game, I even deliberately lost a few rounds.

he asked, his voice urgent. Lauretta nodded and zoomed in on the plate, but the image remained frustratingly blurry. "Oh, shoot!" Alex exclaimed, his frustration evident. "It's not clear at all." Lauretta leaned closer to the screen, thinking quickly. "This is a C-class Mercedes. Only a handful of people have one in this city. We can start there." Anticipation flickered on Alex and Emily's faces. "Okay, where do we start?" Alex inquired, his mind already racing with possibilities.

She needed to stay focused. “I need an aspirin please,” she told the pharmacist. The pharmacist turned around to his shelf, to search for an aspirin. There weren’t many drugs there—in fact, the shelf was almost empty. Still, it was taking him quite a long time to find what she wanted. He was stooped and aged, he head was matted with white hair, and he groaned when he moved. Footsteps approached her from behind.

he heard his secretary say as she hugged him. They were close to her room when he noticed something. He stopped walking and stared at the sofa. He blinked twice to make sure he was seeing correctly. "Brief with a condom?" he exclaimed in shock. What was the XL-sized brief doing on the woman's sofa with a condom on it? He assumed she was attempting to match the condom to the XL size brief. Maximo was surprised when Miss Lara suddenly let go of him and quickly stepped forward. She seems ashamed of what she did because he just witnessed her wilderness.

He said in an exaggerating manner, "Oh my! Finally! Someone finds you attractive. Isn't that good, Tae?" This successfully snapped Scarlet out from wherever she was. Being sharp enough, she caught up to Jamie's hint and giggled, winking mischievously. Cody's expression turned a little soft. This did draw a sigh out of four people being Timothy, Scarlet, Vantae, and Jaime. Neither Timothy nor Jamie would want their best friends to get into trouble. That's when the bell to fifteen minutes gap before class went off. God seemed to be in the youngers' favor, giving an excuse to escape the awkward situation. Timothy grabbed onto Vantae's arm before running towards the school building.

Jules smiled and gestured me to go. As I walk my thoughts fly again. I also plan to visit mom in the hospital today because I’m sure her surgery is over. I quickly got to the locker room and quickly searched for my number. "2405, 2406, 2407,2408! Gotcha!" I smiled as I opened my locker but stopped suddenly when I saw an envelope in it. My hands shakingly reached for it. I open the letter wide-eyed. Good day Oxians! You are one of a lucky person invited to participate in a FALLING GAME.
