Don't Wake The White Wolf
Gwen POV:
I stepped across the threshold of the Advanced class. An eerie silence descended, thicker and more suffocating than the atmosphere yesterday. No chatter, no murderous glares, no chaos. Only the sound of my heels striking the tile floor, echoing into the void.
I scanned the room. Thirty students, each occupied with their own task. Some reading, some discussing assignments, some wearing headphones. But the moment I entered, an invisible wave swept through the classroom. All the bowed heads seemed to sink a little lower, a silent consensus reached without a single word.
