Someone even muttered; "What a way to start a nice morning with boring mathematics class." Mr Rasaq cleared his throat noisily. "Like I said earlier, you are free to leave this class. I'm sure your parents are paying that huge amount of money for you to complain about what most kids out there are dying to get." More grumbles and grunts before we all fell into a complete silence. Only Mr Rasaq's voice could be heard as he tried to explain how to find the missing X. X that has gone missing since primary school. It's high time we just gave up on it.

Jaxon’s grip on my wrist was unyielding as he hauled me through a side door into a space that looked less like a gym and more like a gladiator’s prep room. The air was thick with the scent of sweat, worn leather, and cold steel. Heavy mats covered the floor, scarred from countless impacts, and a wall rack held an intimidating array of weapons that gleamed under the harsh lights. “Welcome to your new classroom,” Jaxon said, releasing me with a slight push. His amber eyes scanned me, looking for any sign of weakness. “You talked a good game out there with the club. Let’s see if there’s anything behind it.”

Dumbbells of different sizes are lined next to a metal bench. Katana of different lengths rested on a rack with two hooks. He opened another door, revealing an adjoining room for aiming practices. There are lots of slots for trainees to practice their aims, with a corner reserved as a mini arsenal where the guns and ammunition to be used for the practice are kept. "Here you are" Mark announced as I nod in satisfaction. "Exactly what I want" I replied.

She said, walking out. "Can she ever be nice for once?" Nicole murmured. "I heard that." She said, not minding us. I was the last to walk in after Brenna. I was very concerned about Xender having me report to Xavier after this, Xavier will never be happy with me if he learns I missed class. Xender took his time to glance at us one after the other, meeting his gaze with mine, he looked surprised. "I learned that you girls were busy in the girls private room, is that true?" He asked.

I said, a little too quickly, which earned a smile from Xaden. She nodded and went to get our coffee. “So, what are your classes?” Xaden asked once we were alone. I took my schedule out of my skirt pocket and slid it across the table for him. He glanced it over and gave it an appreciative nod. “You’ll like these professors,” he told me, handing me the schedule back. “If you need extra help with anything let me know.” I smiled, appreciative of him. “Are we training later today?” I asked him.

They had to settled for something different, but with good potentials; a dance entertainment Industry. The Street Ace, Mayor Banks, joined us as we all walked to the house of the Robo- man, who also happens to be a computer geek, Ryan ‘handsome’ Gates. We reached the X.A, the nickname we gave to our training centre, meaning Extra-ordinary Action. The X.A is a newly renovated elementary school hall in the neighborhood, located just some few blocks away from Ryan’s home and weve just been permitted by the owner of the School Ryans mum to have our dance rehearsals at the hall.

I rolled my eyes, remembering when he tried to make me call him 'sir' when he first started tutoring me. I told him to go fuck himself. "The reason I am taking your class today is that I am promoting the gym that I work at which is known for its private bodybuilding and martial arts courses. You may be may familiar with it because a shooting went down over there last year." A wave of mumbling spread between everyone. People definitely knew which gym he was talking about and of course, he had to mention the courses tha

I run to college, and as always, I arrived late, but I am saved by Filomena, who always manages to cover my calls. I sit next to her, and she faces me, seriously. We spent the entire class talking only about the things of the subject that only give me the certainty that I am in the wrong course. Law is not for me. Class is about to end when my teacher says the words I hate the most:

"Khione, please stay behind for a moment. I’d like to see you." Great. Just what my racing heart needed. I turned to Xalia, who was watching me with a worried expression as she packed up her notebooks. "You can wait outside, X," I told her quietly, trying to sound completely unbothered. "Or you can just head to the next class if you want. I'll meet you there." She gave my shoulder a quick, supportive squeeze before sliding out of the classroom with the rest of the students. Once the door clicked shut, leaving the room heavy and silent, I slowly walked up to Mr. Henderson’s desk.

I just shake off the feeling and prepare myself for the next lesson…. …Something in me wishes that Leonidas is in my next class…. “So we want to find out what X is…can anyone –“ I block out Miss shadow’s overly chirpy voice. She looks very passionate about Math , but unfortunately many learners in the classroom including myself , we just do not share that shame passion. I can hear some learners in the back lightly snore , and by the scrunching of paper I am definitely sure that some poor kid is going to get paper balls thrown at their heads.
