Killian carefully observed the five people Matthias had pointed out, he was impressed by their fast improvement and adaptability to everyone. "And they have been there for just two weeks?" He asked and Matthias nodded but Killian wasn't looking at him so he didn't see that. Killian suddenly stood in front of Matthias, Killian was a head taller and larger than Matthias. Killian has very broad shoulders and he can be mistaken for the beast in 'Beauty and the Beast' from behind. "What's this sudden intimidating?" Matthias asked, taking a few steps back. "Step back." He placed a hand in between them as he stepped back while Killian stepped closer to him.

I threw the stack of cash on his table and that act caused the dealer to look up, his leg crossed on the table in front of him. “Look who we have here,” he said, a smirk forming on his face. I wished to fucking wipe it off his face. “The mighty Zayn Santiago. "The Golden Claw pack is at our borders, and they're demanding to see Ava." My heart sank, and I felt a sense of dread wash over me. It seemed like my worst fears were coming true. The war was coming to our doorstep, and I didn't know if we could avoid it.

The beta pushes Serene out of the kitchen and towards the back door. "B-but I don’t—" "Stop talking and just go! You’ve been so late helping in the kitchen, so don’t complain why I am assigning you to this task." With that, Serene shut her mouth and just thought that she could do it. Cia follows me, standing next to my throne. She doesn't scream. She isn't resistant. She just goes along with it. Being able to manipulate humans it's so much more fun than trying it on a wolf. A human can be so gullible. Cia pours me a new glass of whiskey. Placing it on the table next to my seat. Grabbing my glass then taking a sip. Making her dislikable.” I lean back into my chair. Watching as the clouds roll in.

She asked, peering at the paper. "Kids playing under the rain!?" I did not even know if it was a question or a statement but I nodded any way and she looked at me before looking at the dashboard in the studio. I knew what she was looking at, it was the theme for the week. She looked back at me, brows raised. "The theme is childhood and the Adams I know would be painting one twisted and sad picture of childhood trauma so why are you drawing a picture of happy children playing in the rain?"

Clay glared at the intruder, taking one of his giant steps forward.
