“Now, tell me, Alana. What is it that you really want?” He asked. The way he looked at me intimidated me and I disliked it so much. I wanted to be firm. I wanted to be confident. “I told you. I am here because I want my book!” I said maintaining my stance. Atlas chuckled. A soft and dry sound that mocked me. “That’s not what you are here for.” He said. He sounded so confident and blunt. I hated that he was right and it annoyed me so much that he was speaking so calmly to me after the way he treated me.

Leona wanted some more help on figuring out what exactly happened to Atlantis and Donovan agreed. "Usually I tell Khloe these things first, but I'm worried she might fight Tara next," Leona said, earning a laugh from Donovan. She continued to look through many books, losing hope as she turned each page. Leona was sure that her powers must have had something to do with Atlantis because of the song in her journal. "I thought these books would have some older information but we haven't really found anything. Plus, the internet isn't exactly that reliable either...." Donovan said as he placed another book down on the table.

My comment earned playful chuckles from both of them. “Don’t listen to her,” Atlas said to Eva, glancing at me with a grin. “She’s very creative and observant. We continue to search together in silence, neither one of us minding the time that passes as we take care of our time looking over the pages. Eventually, we find a page that has been decorated with little stick figures battling sea monsters around a diagram of the chest and its unique titanium design.

I whispered. Atlas nodded slowly. The heat in his eyes sharpened, dropping to my mouth. He looked hungry. "And that was it," he murmured, his voice rasping. "I don’t take advantage of girls who are tripping on drugs. But..." His gaze grew heavy. "I’m not above helping you with the heat." "Hallucinating..." I breathed. The word felt like a ghost on my tongue, but it brought a strange peace. "I’m glad you told me that."
